Description

The game is engaging and elegant. The losing player keeps the card, so the cards are used to keep score. The game is fast, so everyone stays involved. The challenge steadily increases as time passes and the obvious solutions get used up, so the tension increases. The unpredictable timer, and the brevity of the time allowed are just the right touches to keep the game fun. Similar to its older sibling Pass the Bomb this version is for younger players. Children will easily recognise the familiar scenes on each card. Well, that is going to be interesting! 14. Things you don’t want to hear a person say on a first date Pass the Bomb Junior is one of our all time favourite games at our Starfish tutoring centre. The manufacturers state it is suitable for 5yrs and up, though we would argue that verbally capable younger kids could also play. We've also had this game out at home, with our large extended family of over 20 from 8yrs up to 74yrs all playing and laughing. Pass The Bomb Junior Features:

A word may not be used twice in a round, but may be used in a subsequent round. For a more challenging game, do not allow simple derivatives to be used. For example, if "PLAY" has been used, do not use "PLAYS", "PLAYED", "PLAYING", etc. With an educational twist, cards also feature French and German language too making it the ideal learning tool for budding linguists. There have been many Disney stars who have gone on to do adult things after they’ve done their time with Disney. 7. Things you would not do if a cop was standing three feet away from you

The cards are designed to promote speech, enhance speech, imagination and creativity. Think of words with the picture as a stimulus or think of words by association. Any word in common use is allowed, including proper names, brand names, colloquial words, and also foreign words in general use; For example, "BLITZKRIEG". A player's turn is finished as soon as s/he has said an acceptable word and passed the bomb timer on, even if the next player has not yet taken hold of the bomb timer. NOTE: The “Junior” version is significantly different than the “Regular” version in that the Junior version does not have a randomizing die and it features picture cards rather than letter cards. The person holding the bomb when it goes off loses the round and must take the card. However, if they manage to get out their word before the bomb explodes, the person next in line is the one who loses the round. That probably depends on the relationship the players have with their mother! 11. Words starting with F The letters may be used anywhere in the word. For example, if the letters on the card are "BO" you could say "KABOOM". However, the genius of the game is, as they say, in the cards. There are 110 of them. Printed on both sides. Each has two or a few letters on it. The game: start the bomb, turn the first card over, say a word that ends with (or starts, or contains) those letters. Then pass the bomb to the next player. Who must say a different word. Etc., etc., until the bomb goes off (through, conceivably, no fault of the player, since it’s random). In such cases, an alternative object must be found by the challenged player before the bomb is passed on.
