About this deal

Standard / random mode: This mode has almost every reaction light. You choose the number of pods that should light up at a time to touch. The use of different coloured lights and the position of the satellites allow for the design of training sessions which are suitable for sport preparation and for functional neuromotor recovery in rehabilitation phases. There are plenty of exercises you can do on your own, but BlazePod is a lot more fun when you're working out with someone else. I recruited my boyfriend to help me test some of the preloaded competitions, and we had a blast. I should note that while many of the single-player activities can be done indoors, you'll need a large, open space for most of the competitions and some of the other drills. My boyfriend and I went to a local park, and in just 30 minutes, we both felt we got a good workout and were dripping in sweat (then again, we live in Florida). If you want to get started with reaction lights, it is first of all smart to think about how many reaction lights you want. If you only buy one lamp, you can't do much with it. I would always choose to buy at least 6. This way you can always do enough exercises. The costs for separate training lamps are often high, but when you buy more lamps the costs for a few extra lamps are very low.

Goalkeeping (Various Sports): React to randomly lit pods while facing shots, improving agility and responsiveness. The Reax Lights can be used for a range of applications from sports performance training, small group X, personal training and PT/OT therapy sessions, physical education, sports camps. They are built to last. The casing is designed to withstand intense usage without sustaining any damage, the LED underneath is incredibly well protected.Coordination Enhancement: Achieve optimal spatial awareness by engaging in training routines that involve synchronized movements of hands and legs. Reaction light training refines your body's coordination for improved performance across sports. As you have read, there are many different options for getting started with reaction training lights. I would definitely recommend every athlete and trainer to start working with them. It can greatly motivate you (and others) to train more and harder. In the end, I returned the Blazepods because I personally like the Reaction X better and will use it to shape my workouts. But which one suits you best will of course differ from person to person. Do you want to get started with the Reaction X like I do? Then you can find them in this webshop. I myself started with 4 lights. This gave me the opportunity to experience how much fun it was to train with reaction lights. Soon I noticed that I regretted not having chosen for 6 lights immediately. With 6 you can not only do more types of exercises, but also challenge yourself by making it more difficult with different lights and colours. We also need a way to detect a object in close proximity, detection has to be fast and reliable. Ultrasonic sensors are bulky and slow, while laser detection or TOF sensors like VL53l0X are small, expensive and hard to protect from dust. My choice is this popular tcrt5000 sensor, really fast, cheap, easy to use... To make sure we catch every movement I placed a pair on each side of PCB/device.

Tailor your workout with the Reax optionals such as chargers, Bluetooth connectivity and a WiFi router. SPECIFICATION: Brand More places to hang the reaction lamps, useful for training reaction speed. Alternative to reaction training lights Integrated charging and protection circuit are from TP4056 module - keeping this project cheap and reliable. Complete the RMA form and include it with the return shipment. Ensure ALL parts and components are included.

Soccer: Combine light pods with a ball, enhancing reaction time and decision-making during passing drills. While I was waiting for the pods to charge, I browsed the preloaded activities in the app to see what I might like to do. First I looked at single-player home activities for balance, core, flexibility, and mobility that do not require additional accessories. I went through the list and starred a couple that looked interesting, including Agility Test, One-Leg Balance, Plank Challenge, Plank Step, Reach Over Rotation Crunches, Squat Touch, and The Yellow Pod Road. Unleash your full potential on the field, court, or arena with Reaction Training Lights. Designed to enhance reaction times, coordination, agility, and balance, these innovative training systems offer a range of benefits for athletes across various sports. Discover how you can level up your game and achieve peak performance with this cutting-edge technology.

From there, you can take a tour of how to navigate the app and its features. After the tour, the app asks you to enable Bluetooth so you can connect to your pods. Just tap the Pod Settings button in the upper right corner of the app to set them up. Basketball: Tap pods arranged in a triangle formation as they light up, progressively increasing speed and challenge. Most reaction lamps are easy to switch on. Often you only need to turn on your bluetooth connection. Open the corresponding app and switch on the lights with one push of the button. When you're finished with an activity, your results are logged in the Analytics tab. For the one-leg balance, I managed 14 hits in 30 seconds. If you try the same activity later, you can visit the Analytics tab to compare your results to see if you improved. A wireless LED light system, created to make any workout session interactive, training the responsive ability through visual and sudden stimulations. Flexible, versatile, full of accessories, each light is equipped with magnets for a rapid connection to multiple surfaces. The WiFi tablet controller enables the trainer and the user to choose customized training programs by using Reaxing sudden dynamic interferences, the only technology capable of unpredictably altering the motor gesture. Another small (US-centric) issue: Though I selected imperial as my preferred measuring system when setting up my account, there are metric measurements in the drill descriptions. It will, for instance, tell you to place the pods two to three meters apart. A BlazePod spokesperson confirmed that that the latest version of the app only offers imperial measurements in results and analytics, not drill descriptions. That means you'll need a metric measuring tape or you'll have to convert the measurements to imperial. This is only really important if you want to compare your results over time to see if you improved. If so, you'll need to measure out the spacing so you can set up the pods exactly the same way each time. Another expensive variant is the Fitlight. 6 fitlights will cost you around €1769 + carrying bag (€295 per pod).
