The point is . . . why Madoc and Jared tormented her rather than tried to date her was a mystery to me. I actually really liked both of the main characters in this story. Once I figured out why they had this big rivalry, I understood them both better. Fight. Fight through everything. Don’t leave the house angry or go to bed mad. Fight until it’s settled. The end of fighting is the beginning of giving up.” I think it is always important to point out the steam factor and this story was HOT! I mean super HOT. Ms. Douglas can write a sex scene, and theses scenes were panty melting HOT!

OMG can't wait ....love soo much this type of storylines with angst, character knowing each other since childhood, sexual tension, the game of seduction, who's going to succumb first. Pero ya no me asusta. Ni me presiona. Si se tira un farol, se lo devuelvo. Es lo que quiere, ¿no? Mientras me mantenga en guardia, no se dará cuenta de lo mucho que me importa… I was really craving a book that would make me stop everything I was supposed to be doing and devour every word . . . and that's exactly what Bully did!' She did something seasoned writers haven't been able to do - take a hero who was a complete ass and make me fall in love with him'

Jax OMG!!!!He is amazing!!!I need his book now!!!!If you loved Bully and Until You then you definately love this one!!! I love a forbidden romance, so this book was right up my alley. With parents scheming to keep them apart and colossal misunderstandings standing between them, this duo had to fight an uphill battle every step of the way. In addition, Fallon had to come to terms with the facts, as well as her feelings, and decide what revenge was really worth to her. Throw in some angst, betrayal and deception and you've got a great tale. On the one hand, I absolutely adored it. I loved both Fallon and Madoc. They are not without flaws, but they are written like real human beings. Throughout the book, we slowly learn more about each character and like them more and more.

This book was kind of a soup opera, with so many twist and OMG moments, that you didn't know what connections to make and in which way to go. Once again, Fallon and Madoc were very love/hate with each other. The last two years of miscommunication building in to hate and anger. So many secrets and feelings kept from each other. Corner #952: I don’t really like you or my husband or his son, so I’m going to take fifteen vacations a year by myself! Madoc is upset so sleeping with a slut (other girls are sluts remember?) Is perfectly acceptable. Hmm.. Just like Jared and Piper in Bully.. Yet neither guy tells the girl they apparently care about so much. This isn't normal behaviour. That beautiful girl hated me, and I heated her, but- goddamn it- I loved how we hated, because it was raw and real. It didn’t make any sense, but yeah- it was real.

The prologue takes place when they are both 16, Madoc's dad is married to Fallon's mum and they don't really get along, they go to the same school but don't have much to do with each other during the day. Bully is an excellent start to an exciting series. Tate is a strong woman, such that she can put up with Jared and his bullying even though she has no idea of why her once best friend chooses to be so bad for her. Her relief comes when she gets to spend a year in France, away from Jarred and his taunting. However, it reaches a point when she has to stand her ground, which forces Jared to up his game. Throughout the story, Tate not only matures as a character but also as a woman from being the defenseless naïve girl to being a woman who can stand for herself, and her ground. Jared bullying leaves Tate with very few friends, and this causes her at times to be socially inept. However upon realizing herself, Tate blossoms and manages to stand for herself.

From the moment I read the synnopsis I was intrigued!Love/hate relationships always are the best!!Finally we can see and understand some of Madoc's reactions in the previous books and finally we can understand him better!!The characters were realistic and all the time I felt like I was into the story!!It was hot, funny and romantic! There is always a reason when it comes to bullying, and so is to Jared’s case. There are some reasons as to why he becomes a bully, and there are also reasons for his hate. However, does this make it right? Not. Jared anger and his hurting behavior have some explainable causes; he is a lonely young man dealing with his pain but decides to lash it on others. In this particular case, he unleashes his burdens on the one person who loved him unconditionally. Also Read: Behind the Beautiful Forevers by Katherine Boo Brief Summary Some facts about the book Rival by Penelope Douglas Overall, this author can write, the pace was good and those sex scenes were steamy but the love wasn't there and the last 30 percent was soap opera ridiculous. That beautiful girl hated me, and I hated her, but – goddamn it – I loved how we hated, because it was raw and real. It didn’t make any sense, but yeah – it was real.” Madoc on the other hand, was not the hero I was hoping to find. He was sort of judgmental, impulsive and made a lot of mistakes. I wanted him to fight harder for Fallon and make up for the time they lost.. But unfortunately not all my wishes came true. He was a little immature for my taste, seeking revenge without having a proper conversation with her and maybe finding out the reasons that made her leave. He acted by impulse and little by heart. I loved Madoc in Bully. I know he was a bit of an ass, but he had some charisma. I was so excited when I found out the next book would be his. And with his stepsister. Win! I can say honestly, I loved Bully and Until You much better than Rival. I did like this, but there were a few over the top things that made it impossible for me to give it 5 stars. Still, there were things I did really like. The overall plot. For one, it felt like a rehash of Jared and Tate's "I-hate-you-but-I-love-you" story line. I thought the forbidden aspect would be the main thing that holds the whole story together. There were echoes of it, for sure but they are just that, echoes. The reason why it left me unsatisfied was when the book started, the forbidden part already happened. That moment where they started their relationship happened off screen. Most of the book was just dealing with the aftermath of their forbidden relationship. I was expecting to see more of it, instead we get Fallon and Madoc hating each other the first half of the book pretty much like Jared and Tate in their book. New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover 'Full of feeling and intensity that will appeal to the reader seeking an emotional rush'

Madoc y Fallon. Dos adolescentes que no se conocen y que juegan al límite entre el amor y la guerra. thought Katherine was a drunk? Conveniant affair under our noses without the trouble of adding in a new character. For Madoc and Fallon the truth of who they are, who they want to be only surfaces behind closed doors. After all, no one would understand, right? Theirs would be a brow lifting relationship. yet they seem to become buddy-buddy pretty easily considering how socially inept they both appear to be. characters can't communicate with words so have to use violence, vandalism, sleeping around or really really embarrassing karaoke to express themselves. Again, I blame laziness for these. The author dealt with this issue very well. The scene was devastating. When Maddox embraced Fallon and she cried, I felt tears in my eyes. I devoured this book in a day. It reminded me all over again why I love this woman's writing. She does it for me every time. Every. Single. Time. Now to just finish the rest of this series!!! Maddox and his father's issue was also solved. It was good to see them accepting their differences. Now for the characters, I liked Fallon so much, but i always had a sweet spot for Madoc from the previous books, so i was glad it was a dual POV. Also we had an opportunity to follow the rest of our favorite characters as they grow up and go on with their lives. Intertwining a totally new story with this element, with out making it very prominent is both faschinating and well-crafted. I did not think their story was as powerful as Tate and Jared's story, which I thought was crazy because Fallon and Maddoc - with their history - had the potential for even more of a connection in my opinion. With being each other's first and then later the pregnancy/abortion, they had a lot tying them together.
