Judy now includes all of the 30mm MTB and E-MTB forks, with axle and steerer options to match any spec, and Gold level gives you aluminum upper tubes and Motion Control damping. The ZEB Select+ shares many features with the flagship ZEB, including the DebonAir+ air spring, Charger 3 RC2 damper and Pressure Relief Valves, but it misses out on the vibration-damping ButterCups and machined crown. The SID Select+ shares the same DebonAir+ air spring as the SID Ultimate and gets the same Charger Race Day 2 damper but without the same machining. Other than that, it shares its seals and damper fluid with the flagship model.

The Pike Select+ is treated to almost all the same technology as the Pike Ultimate, but misses out on the ButterCups and the machined crown. The Pike Select gets a more basic Charger RC damper, with easy-to-adjust low-speed compression and rebound. Apart from the Pressure Relief Valves, which can be retrofitted, the Pike Select shares the same DebonAir+ air spring, seals and damper fluid as the rest of the Pike line-up. Solo Air and DebonAir only: Compress the fork through at least 50% of its travel five more times to equalize positive and negative air pressures. With riding gear on, and an assistant holding the bike, stand on the pedals and compress the fork three times. Then sit or stand in your normal riding position. Have your assistant slide the sag o-ring down to the top of the dust wiper seal. Torque Caps make the bond between hub and fork dropout stronger, with an increased surface area connecting the two. This creates a stronger, stiffer interface, giving you a more responsive front wheel and more control. So you concentrate on the most important connection, the one between your bike and the trail. When it comes to mountain bike suspension forks, you need to understand what dampers, air springs volume tokens and sag gradient do. After all, these parts are responsible for the way your fork performs. Because mountain biking requires you to carry more weight over the front of the bike, the fork bears the lion’s share of the your weight. Most mountain bike forks will have some degree of adjustability, ranging from hard to soft, as well as certain models including adjustability in their length of travel. The ZEB Select is specced with a DebonAir+ air spring and the more basic Charger RC damper. The rest of the technology is carried over from the Select+ model, apart from the Pressure Relief Valves, which can be retrofitted if desired.

Much like the ZEB, it also boasts ButterCup technology, Pressure Relief Valves, premium SKF seals and Maxima Plush damper fluid, as well as a machined and anodised crown.The Judy chassis has been designed specifically around Boost hub spacing and compatibility with up to a 2.8in wide tyre. The one-piece magnesium lowers are tied together with a 15mm diameter Maxle, which offers a tools-free lever to remove the front wheel. Other features include post-mount brake tabs, and an integrated bolt-on cable guide for the front brake hose. The Judy Silver TK fork is OEM only, and uses cheaper steel upper tubes and a Turnkey damper.

While they’re less durable and dampened than the Pike and Yari fork lines, they are ideal for less aggressive riders who want additional suspension travel.
