Puroland is based off the real life Puroland which is an indoor Sanrio theme park. The park is modeled from the entrance and the Goods shop is modeled off the gift shop. Bandai collaborated with the Japanese J-pop and K-pop idol group, NiziU, to promote the Tamagotchi Smart. They appeared in the reveal video and promotional art, eventually having a TamaSma Card and Smart themed after them. Friend List: The user can see a list of friends they have connected to. The list can hold up to six different profiles, and upon the seventh device connection, one must be deleted. The first release to not show a Tamagotchi's gender on its profile screen. While gender is not mentioned, it still affects what Tamagotchi a younger stage will grow into and what marriage partners they'll be offered in the TaMatching app. Port Cover Discoloration: The rubber flaps that cover the charging and TamaSma Card ports on the side of the smart are prone to discoloration, being the most noticeable for white and sanrio shells. The discoloration is difficult to remove and it is often recommended to either keep the smart in a case or cover the ports with decorative tape.
Like most Tamagotchi devices, the Meets is shaped like an egg. The shell is a pleasant candy-apple red, reminiscent of Hello Kitty’s red bow. The screen is set in a super-cute pink gingham faceplate with both Sanrio characters and Tamagotchi characters on it, surrounded by strawberries. The faceplate has lots of glitter in it, creating a very pretty shimmery effect whenever it catches the light. While raising the Tamagotchi is the same as other releases during the first generation, from the second generation onward, the new child will take on the physical characteristics of its parents. Additionally, a new TamaSma Card has been revealed, Marine Change. It features 10 characters and oceanic items, accessories and other content. Balloon Game: Hello Kitty will appear flying in the air with balloons, and the user's objective is to help her avoid crows and collect balloons. The A button moves her up, and the B button moves her down. Hello Kitty will gradually float down if no buttons are pressed. Hello Kitty can hold up to two balloons, and each time she hits a crow, she will lose one. Collecting a balloon will restore one to Hello Kitty if one had been lost. The game is a "Failure" if both of her balloons are popped, "Success" if she clears the game with one balloon, and "Great Success" if she clears the game with two balloons. Pressing the C button closes the game.
A Sanrio-themed Tama Deco Pierce was made available for the Tamagotchi P's, granting costumes based on Sanrio characters for several Tamagotchis listed below. Photo: The two will take a photo together which is saved under the Photo option under the Memory Icon Dressmaker (Game Corner, Fantasy & Wonder Garden): The tamagotchi is standing next to a mannequin and they have an empty meter above them. The user has 12 seconds to mash the A button as much as they can to fill the meter. After 12 seconds, the tamagotchi will create a dress and its quality will depend on how full the meter is. If the Tamagotchi needs something, the user can press the C button for an animation to see what it needs. If the Tamagotchi looks away and shows a dizzy spiral, it's hungry; if it sulks, it's unhappy. If its Hungry and Happy meters are not empty, it will perform a Close Up.The Tamagotchi will poop throughout its life, requiring the user to select the Bathroom icon to clean it. If the user selects the Bathroom icon the moment before the Tamagotchi poops, it will use the toilet instead, and increase Happiness. Strawberry (Game Corner, Sweets): The tamagotchi will be in front of three conveyor belts delivering various desserts while holding a basket of strawberries. They must top the desserts with strawberries by standing in front of the conveyor belt with the dessert as it reaches the end. Pressing the B button will move the tamagotchi to the next belt.
A total of six different versions of the Tamagotchi m!x were released between 2016 and 2018. Each version has their own distinct design, items, locations, and characters that can be interacted with and married. All versions can connect and marry with each other. The six versions are as follows: Piano Game: Three piano keys will appear on the bottom portion of the screen, and hearts will fall on the left, middle, or right side of the screen. The user must press the A, B, or C buttons correlating with the hearts as they get close to the piano keys. The game is a "Failure" if five hearts are missed, "Success" if 2-4 hearts were missed, and "Great Success" if 0-1 hearts were missed. Pressing the A and C buttons together closes the game.

The Pastel ( パステル) version was released in Japan in March 2019. It features two new locations with five new marriage partners Easter Land ( Eggbasketchi, Piyotamausatchi, Tamaladytchi, and Tamaboytchi) and Flower Garden ( Flower Fleur, Yotsubatchi, and Butterflytchi).
