About this deal

Wings: I think transports absolutely are viable here – even some of the ones that are less outstanding in their own regard. I expect to see much more experimentation with Chimeras and Rhinos. Note that this boxed set does not contain any upgrade sprues, as the Reiver shoulder pads are different from the Intercessor pads in the upgrade set. Instead the box comes with three transfer sheets. Scions of Macragge

On Warhammer+ this week, Strike Force Agastus is put through its paces in Battle Report against the Orks menacing the planet of Kolomar. It will be the first time you’ll be able to see the new Brutalis Dreadnought and Desolation Marines in combat, so you won’t want to miss it. Wings: Absolutely – but how much they vary again depends on the map. I’d be willing to risk Raise the Banners High on Retrieval Mission or Scorched Earth, not so much on The Four Pillars.

New Space Marine Primaris Lieutenant

What do you think about the new Space Marines Brutalis Dreadnought, Agastus Strike force, and Desolation Squad reveals at the 2023 LVO preview? So what do I think of this box? If you want to get all of the new Marine releases in a single box it’s a great option. From a value point of view we don’t know how much these new kits will retail for – but we can do some guess work based on prices of similar kits.

I also assume that a new Space Marines codex can’t be too far behind this book, and I suspect that may give us some insight into the rumoured 10th edition of the game – so I think there may be lots more goodies for Space Marine players to get excited about in the near future! INFANTRY characters, who are easy to keep alive and in place for some actions. Even better if they meet the above criteria too! The good news is that a lot of the advice I’ve given up till now is aimed at helping you be ready to respond to this situation. Making sure your army has broad secondary options lets you avoid trying to take something like Raise the Banners High when you’re on a four-objective map, because if you do that then go second it’ll probably be a complete disaster. If your opponent decides to make a play for multiple objectives at once, having a broad range of offensive tools lets you try and absolutely crush any weak points they’ve left in their configuration. Durable threats brought to take and hold objectives probably aren’t bad at tanking some turn 1 firepower as well. There are some choices gun-wise too. While the Brutalis doesn’t have space for anything other than bolters on its arms, some enterprising soul has stapled two heavy bolters to the chest, which is cool and all, but you can also upgrade these to a pair of multi-meltas for an extra 30pts, at which point this is a meaningful ranged threat too, and a very powerful all-rounder.

As for building them by the instructions, they went together as well as you could have expected from a modern GW kit. There aren’t many gotchas to watch out for, the most noteworthy risk is that the sensor on the shoulder pad doesn’t really index, so they might slide out of place while drying. TheChirurgeon: The Raze objective is real interesting because of how it can reward Strategic Reserves arriving on turn 3, but it’s still a big risk to do something that can only be accomplished on turn 5, provided the units that arrive on turn 3 can move 10″ to get within range on turn 4.
