He leaned in closer. “Different rules for me,” he murmured, and my blood boiled again, my body aching. I don't know what the shoes in the house will accomplish unless you live in a house of obstacles but everything else yep, yep...its super duper important and may protect your sexy bones (Read the book and it'll all make sense 😂 ) It's the year of Aqua hair for Mads...and our girl is struggling a little with everything that went down last year between losing Asher and also her boys and we can't forget the crazy power-hungry gods...and I don't blame her, I'd be pretty changed from all she went through. But she really is trying to make a new start to find the happiness in whatever moments she can and to feel the love of her family. In New York, Mischa asks the Faerie Eldest to open a path to the Dragon-King's tomb. Hali tells Mischa about the "King's Bane" comic she read, which contains the same verse the Riddle-Tree gave the twins: "What is shattered must be mended, What is mended must be shattered."

and the MC! ohmygod, she was more Mary Sue than Rey, if that's even possible. she's the prettiest, strongest, everyone likes her or hates her, the main guy suddenly LOVES her without even them talking... oh god, I could go on. The book had a strong Wattpad vibe, with the way it was written and how certain things were handled. I thought a bit about Zodiac Academy while reading it, because there were a few similarities, but this one is definitely more suitable for YA then Zodiac Academy. I was frustrated with the writing style and the things that happened in the blink of an eye, but I was also kind of addicted to this, so taught guess whether someone might enjoy this series or not. Is it a masterpiece? No. But it's still exciting to follow as long as you don't expect a "bulletproof" plot and you don't mind the insta-love and insta-friendship. Will I still go on with this series? Yes, I will try. I'm curious enough to keep reading it and I'm curious to see if Jaymin Eve's writing can impress me. I've read the Secret Keeper series from her as well and, again, while the story was good, the way it was written and the fact that all the characters had that insta-love going on made it impossible for me to love it. So I'm really curious if all the series are like that, because, if that's the case, I might have to give up on the author. I moved, but I was too slow. She lunged for me, and before I could get out of the way, her hands wrapped around mine. She murmured a few words, words that were not English, and I felt a hot pulse against my skin. With a shriek, I tried to yank myself free from her, but she was surprisingly strong. Secret Keepers series (Paranormal Romance) House of Darken. House of Imperial. House of Leights. House of Royale. It's time for the fight of all their lives...and it will leave you breathless. The protectiveness and love all the characters have for one another is seriously so far off the charts. These are characters that you find yourself easily relating to and connecting to. There wasn't a moment that I wasn't feeling what they were...and that's what makes this ride so phenomenally perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It built the main characters well and had a great storyline. I did expect it to be focused on the academy though, and it kind of didn’t. Well, half didn’t? About half the book looked at the wonderful elements that come together in academy books and the other half moved into the more serious plot line. Meanwhile, in the human world, misfit Mischa keeps having strange visions of a door in a forest, which she turns into evocative drawings. Urged by her new friend to turn those drawings into a comic, Mischa believes that maybe she’s finally settling in somewhere — but her anxious mother notices the drawings and begins to fret. Mischa brushes her off, but after a vivid dream where she turns into a wolf, she wakes up to find the couch in tatters… What’s it really about? Year 3 of the supernatural academy and the conclusion to this series was just everything. Every question I had was answered, every suspicion confirmed and so much crazy that happened I had a hard time getting my head around it all and letting this series go.

If one person is able to make you feel all the feels...I betcha it's this chic...this book will have you playing a serious game of whiplash and one moment you'll be laughing and then the next you'll have tears in your eyes and then everything in between and beyond. All I know is that if this book doesn't make you feel things, I don't know what will. And I may then be inclined to believe

Customer reviews

It’s not the best pilot in the world, but it is intriguing enough if you’re looking for a fun series about supernatural beings in a school setting that could build up to some epic fantasy adventures — if it doesn’t spend the entire time on Jessa’s circle of admirers. When and where can I watch Supernatural Academy ? The trio is disillusioned that the Cloister is unlike what they have been told their whole lives: children are entrapped in crystal once they get their powers. The twins confront their parents, only to find out that they already know: it is the reason they were split up in the first place. Their Dragon-marks glows bright when the twins are close to each other. Angry at her mother's hypocrisy, Mischa storms out and shifts for the first time. In Curse of Gods, we had a heroine who started strong but then cos she is sooooooooooo "special" for wholly unknown reasons she snags the attention of all the hot guys. Again, no.
