About this deal

That’s not the only thing that put me off of this character. This poor girl’s life is a mess. She broke a nail, she didn’t do her homework which she fully admitted to being her own fault (she literally had no excuse), and now her boyfriend broke up with her. Oh no! AND THEN her parents “smother” her! AKA her parents just worry about their kid 🙄 Yes, I am being extremely sarcastic. Lol. I’m sorry but all her whining was getting on my nerves! Miss Everly—now." Mr. Meade pointed to the door, as if I had forgotten how to leave and needed reminding. Switched is paranormal YA with a fresh twist. It has a more deliberate pace than other YA fantasy...and more emotional thrills. I really appreciated the realistic development of the love story, and the characters feel well developed. Recommended. I'd So Rather Be Reading

I must admit I never thought I would want to be a troll or that a writer could make them such interesting and fascinating creatures, but Amanda did it! I loved the fast pace and the mythology and the twists in the story, Switched was an easy and entertaining read that made me forget stupid reality and stupid reality stuff! As the Kindred overall story continues there is much excitement, danger and suspense, (the evil Two is even more determined to destroy the Kindred), great interactions and involvement by characters from previous books and lots of sizzling sexy scenes. Book 17 in particular has a major amount of humor and fun that has you smiling the whole time. I lifted my head and discreetly wiped away the drool. I glanced around to see if anyone had noticed. Most of the class seemed oblivious, except for Finn Holmes. He'd been here a week, so he was the only kid in school newer than me. Whenever I looked at him, he always seemed to be staring at me in a completely unabashed way, as if it were perfectly normal to gawk at me.

Despite the recent divorce Frankie has recently gone thru (to her families horror) Frankie considers herself to be a good catholic girl ).She's a beautiful curvy ( although she's not in love with what she feels is her ample booty) Latino woman trying desperately to move forward with her life, trying to finish university, get a real job rather than her present one at Victoria's Secret, and even become a yoga instructor to bring In extra money. Many Kindred couples meet at first through dream sharing, Frankie's first experiences go way beyond dream sharing all the way to mind and body sharing. From the beginning I already knew my favorite character would be Nicole. Nicole and I have similarities. One similarity that we have is that we both have parents that care about us a lot and get scared when ever I don't come from my friends house early. Nicole seemed so confuse and paranoid. She reminded me of my mom when she has many things to do and she goes all crazy. My mom can act just as Nicole did when she found out she had switched bodies and she murdered people. Lucy and Nicole were best friends and they both didn't like their lives, so they decided to switch bodies, but that was not as cool as Nicole thought. It was a tragedy. Finn is a mysterious guy who always seems to be watching her. Every encounter leaves her deeply shaken…though it has more to do with her fierce attraction to him than she'd ever admit. But it isn't long before he reveals the truth: Wendy is a changeling who was switched at birth—and he's come to take her home.

You looked nervous. Did something happen?" Matt asked, and I sighed. He took his whole big brother thing way too seriously. I LOVED this book! The characters are quite likable and there is never a dull moment. I highly suggest you take a look at this book if you want to read some fantasy that leaves you panting for the next installment. The Light Under The Covers Nicole was having a mental break, you guys. It turns out that Lucy had been in a car accident and well, you can imagine what happened from there. Nicole, unable to accept her friend’s death, has a mental break and she imagines this whole thing with the switching bodies and all the murders! I felt so bad for her! I legitimately wanted to cry. This was my theory all along, that she was just having some sort of mental break, and I was right. In this case, that was not a bad thing. It just made me incredibly sad for the girl. Kerov and Frankie are true mates. They discover this rather suddenly, when Frankie wakes up in Kerov’s body. None of them is happy about it. An addicting, easy to digest book that can be devoured in an afternoon. "Feeding My Book Addiction"

I actually felt sorry for Commander Kerov Volx. He was a Kindred who lives on Tarsia Six. Their rules are so strict on this plant that he could easy find himself killed if not careful. His kind was know at one time to be able to switch bodies with their mates. This is forbidden on this planet along with other things that are in the Kindred DNA. Every. Single. Character. In this book. Expected her to know everything about Trylle life already. Nobody even educates this girl. Sometimes Finn, the hero, tries to, but then they end up making out or some other annoying romantic activity. Anyhoo - why did I choose "Switched" to pop my "young adult horror genre" cherry? Hmm. Not sure. But look: if you happen to be going away camping in a deep dark forest, and you want something to read to your friends while you sit around the campfire, toasting your marshmallows, THIS IS IT. There's no way they'll fall asleep in their tents afterwards. Each little forest noise will make them soil their sleeping bags folks.

How can this book possibly be resolved in any logical fashion when it has jumped off the diving board marked "Crazy"? I'm glad you asked. Look at you. Making your very first friend." Matt shut off the car's engine and looked at me with veiled amusement. Nobody had ever really believed that story, but it was true, and it was how I figured out that I could get people to do things just by thinking it. I had been thinking that I really wanted his bike, and then I was looking at him and he was listening to me, even though I hadn't said anything. Then I was driving his motorcycle.Probably nothing you'd like." Matt started sifting through the contents of the fridge, but he was right. Frankie is an latino human female, and Kerov is a Switch Kindred. Both could not possibly come from two very different worlds.

Wendy was so damn unlikable. She was close to being a TSTL heroine. When her mother, Elora, yelled at her about the stupidest things, she just stood there and took it. She needs to learn to stand up for herself. -_-

It’s fairly obvious that I’m a fan of this series since we’re now 17 books in and I’ll still drop whatever I’m doing to read new ones! I’m pleased to say that this book did not disappoint and in fact only improves upon the groundwork laid by previous books. Filled with action, suspense, and romance...I found the story completely fascinating.” — A True Reality Blog R. L. Stine began his writing career when he was nine years old, and today he has achieved the position of the bestselling children's author in history. In the early 1990s, Stine was catapulted to fame when he wrote the unprecedented, bestselling Goosebumps® series, which sold more than 250 million copies and became a worldwide multimedia phenomenon. His other major series, Fear Street, has over 80 million copies sold. Finally everything makes sense. Among the Trylle she is not just different, but special. But what marks her out as chosen for greatness in this world also places her in grave danger. With everything around her changing, Finn is the only person she can trust. But dark forces are conspiring - not only to separate them, but to see the downfall of everything that Wendy cares about. This author writes very hot stories but this felt more gentle with a pace that pulled this reader in. I loved that the couple didn't really meet initially and yet still managed to fall for each other. It's still a story that pushes the Kindred though and fans of the series will remember a certain Two who holds a grudge against the Kindred and in this book he puts his plan into action. You will never guess what he's up to! So yes it's a book that has sexy times but it also thoroughly entertained me . I'm not sure how the author does it but yet again she has given us characters to love, a steamy romance and all wrapped up in an adventure with more to come .
