About this deal

This is a reminder of our mortality. If you passed away today would you be satisfied with that which you had accomplished? Are you proud of the life and your legacy? If not, I’ve got some good news…you are still alive. Tomorrow is a new day and you can change directions. To reach a destination does take time, you can’t arrive at a 10 year destination overnight, but to change directions you can do that today. You just have to decide, commit, and be specific. The people need conciseness and a definite solution to every problem so that they can act upon the Quran and the Sunnah. Of course, it is the duty of the people to seek evidence and to be satisfied with other scholars.

Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman Al-Arifi, a prominent Saudi cleric, thought of compiling the biographies of the Companions of the Holy Prophet and the stories of prominent people of the Ummah in a similar way, which were far superior to the biographies of non-Muslims. Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.” Ayat 185Dale Carnegie an American writer and lecturer, and the developer of courses in self-improvement, salesmanship, corporate training, public speaking, and interpersonal skills wrote a book, The Art of “Art of Public Speaking”, in which his style was the first state principle and then, under one, to illustrate the events of his nation’s prominent men. ۔ How did his book benefit him? All he could do was commit suicide. It was only because he wrote this book in an attempt to make worldly happiness and a life of ease a success. The book was initially in Arabic and was later published in several other languages. Darussalam has published this book in Urdu as well as in English. This book is the autobiography of Muhammad Asad who is an intellectual Muslim scholar, political theorist and spiritual writer. Published in 1954, Muhammad Asad tells about his initial rejection of all religions, how he entered into Taoism then his fascinating travel as a diplomat, and finally his Islam embracement. The book is a combination of adventure and scenic beauty of travel. I know I mentioned it in the beginning, but the illustrations truly are beautiful. They’re placed throughout the book and I always like to stop and look at pictures while I’m reading. It helps the reader immerse into the story, at least from my perspective it does. I felt like I was really there when the historical events occurred and I could see why so many love their religion. I think this book is a must-read for my fellow Christians because if we are only reading about other religions from hostile sources, we won’t be learning much and like the source, we will be hostile towards others. The leading Imams have written many Islamic books related to the complete code of a Muslim’s life which are also very popular but in this day and age, a common man may not be able to fully understand them.

Authored by Lesley Hazletonin 2009, it is the story about two rivals between Sunni and Shia in Islam. Thisbook is a pure historical description of what happened after the death of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. In the whole narration Sunni Shia split revolves aroundMuhammad PBUH, Ali R.A and Hussein R.A. Lesley Hazleton beautifully explored the psychology of Ayesha wife of Muhammad PBUH and gave an excellent insight into her controversial actions. When you read the book, you feel you are standing in the middle of each event of Islam. It includes a brief explanation of every Hadith mentioned in this book with full references and the status of hadith as Sahih and Daeef. A book that will make you free from many other books on the same topic. Scholars of Ahadith (narrations) and writers of the biography of Muhammad (PBUH), the Messenger of Allah, have explored his life from every angle and aspect from birth to death. I love the overall layouts of the contents. They included quotes from known Muslims figures from all over the world including my own country, Malaysia, quotes from the Quran, facts and history behind each topic, and also there's pictures, mind maps and illustrations related to it (slide left. Islam is the best protector of its followers. To protect honor, he forbade adultery. Prohibited alcohol to protect the intellect. He called the murder a great crime to save one’s life.

Useful Islamic books are found in the books of the late Imams and Scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama`, so care should be taken to acquire them, read them, and benefit from the abundant knowledge they contain. Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. “Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.” Ayat 286

We have certainly created man into hardship. Does he think that never will anyone overcome him?” Surah Balad Ayat 4-5 No doubt, ‘The Sealed Nectar’ (الرحيق المختوم) is a book of great value and praiseworthy work on the life of Muhammad (PBUH). This Islamic book was written by the Eminent Shaikh Safiur-Rahman Mubarakpuri of Jamiah Salafiyah, Banaras (India). Darussalam has published this Islamic book in Urdu, English, and other languages, and has been marked as a bestselling book! But otherwise, this is a pretty nice book covering a large array of subjects around Islam, starting with the basics about Islam as a religion, the history of big Muslim figures and going all the way to Islam in today's world and some challenges in Muslim and non-Muslim countries regarding Islam (such as Islamophobia in the West and extremely restrictive interpretations of some religious rules in Saudi Arabia). Dr. Shafiqu ur Rehman, a prominent religious scholar of Pakistan, has written this Islamic book entitled Namaz e Nabvi to the benefit of the Ummah. Within this book, he has covered the correct process of ablution and salah in the light of the sunnah.

Authored by Shaykh Saalih ibn Fawzaan, the subject of discussion in the book is the great declaration of ‘laa ilaaha illallaah’ that no one has the right to be worshipped except Allah, its status in the life of Muslims; its excellence, its virtues, its meaning and requirements, how it benefits the one who declares it and when it does not, its effects upon the individual. The warnings about the Sahi and the Dhaif Hadith are also highlighted by Sheikh Zubair Ali Zai رحمه الله. This Islamic book in English is sold under the name “Prayers according to the Sunnah”.

This great offer of Darussalam under the name of Minhaj-ul-Muslim is a wonderful gift for every Muslim, compiled by the eminent religious Saudi scholar, Sheikh Abu Bakr Jaber Al-Jazairi. This book keeps a very matter-of-fact approach that shouldn’t be controversial with anyone, it’s merely stating the beliefs and origins of those beliefs in the Islamic religion. Despite being mainly introductory, It has a lot of useful information and some things I didn’t know and It’s always good to learn.
