This month's Get Creative is getting royally imaginative too, with inventive acrostic poems and story starters to encourage kids to use the coronation to inspire their writing. The King’s Runaway Crown was developed and written in-house by Rosalind Spark and illustrated by Ian Smith. It follows the escapades of Colin, the King’s dog, who runs off with the crown just hours before the coronation, and little Violet, who heroically saves the day.

It takes a little girl to point out that everyone gets nervous sometimes, and Colin simply wanted to help the King. This right royal romp with it's wealth of alliteration and its crying out to be joined in with repeat refrain, Catch Colin!
