I am afraid I will have to be blunt. It is possible to count people who you know live there and for whom you have remains. You can count people who you know lived there, who are missing and for whom you have no remains. You can even count people who you can’t identify but for whom you have remains. One victim of the Kings Cross fire in 1987 remained unidentified until 2004. What you can’t do is count people who aren’t registered there, when no one is coming forward and claiming they are there, and for whom there are no remains or recoverable DNA.

I won’t say whether I’m a believer or not now, as that might not be fair. But I would fully recommend this book and King Arthur fans will certainly enjoy it. I am going to give this book a 4 star rating. The book is an investigation of the evidence for King Arthur based on the earliest written sources rather than later myths and legends. From the recent global coronavirus pandemic and the 2002-2004 SARS epidemic, to localised norovirus outbreaks, we have never been more informed on the role cleaning plays in stopping the spread of infection.

As an ex-union rep, I deplore the closing of fire stations and removal of fire engines and I sympathise with people who think that there was a failure to provide proper equipment to Grenfell – but it doesn’t appear to be a significant factor in this case. Let me explain why. It details the first written reference to Arthur in the Historia Brittonum c800 and the later Annales Cambriae in the tenth century showing the evolution of the legend in in later Welsh and French stories. For those of you who remember the dear story told in the Independent Lens film Limited Partnership, longtime partners Tony Sullivan and Richard Adams became one of the first same sex couples to be legally married in the world, in 1975 in Boulder, Colorado, only to have Tony, who is originally from Australia, denied citizenship when the federal government failed to recognize the marriage. Sadly, Richard passed away a few years ago, but Tony gallantly continued the fight, both for his citizenship and for gay marriage in the United States. Well, we have some amazing news to share: The U.S. government has now officially recognized their marriage as valid, thus finally approving Tony’s green card application decades later, making the widower a U.S. citizen at last.Your instrument will most likely be with you for many years so it makes sense to try it out for more than an hour in a shop.
