About this deal

Character development: Willow is still in the self-discovery phase of her life and you can clearly see her growing into her own with the choices and experiences she goes through. After they bring her into their home, they vow to not get involved with her (news flash they fail, horribly) and to keep from developing feelings. I am *very* interested in seeing where they go from here, especially after that ending. In classic Eva fashion, it is a cliff hanger. not quite as bad as the ending of Reign of Wrath... but this still made me want to scream. I am gonna stop there tho, because I don't want to post any spoilers. So. So. Worth. It. There’s enough tension prior to this to keep you reading on, it’s truly deliciousssss 🤌🏼✨

No shit but that cliffhanger and plot twist towards the end got me like😭🤯😧. Need me the third book ASAP. I don't know how I'm gonna survive until it comes out ajshjsksksk😩 On a serious note tho, it's safe to say that Eva Ashwood has become one of my fav authors - specifically fav RH author - and I look forward to seeing Willow, Mal, Ransom and Vic's story progress💗 I love this trope especially when you pair it with a good “touch her and I’ll unalive you” trope! I mean they kind of go hand in hand, but not always, so I love to see them in the same book!I just love them all, okay? I wish I was Willow because I'd gladly take all three, thank you very much. Preferably all at once 😏😈 The writing was alright, there were some mistakes, but it wasn’t too bothersome. As I said, the steamy scenes were written well, but I do feel like there are some plot-holes and some missing information which could’ve given the characters some depth. Twisted Game is a full-length new adult romance with dark themes, damaged anti-heroes, and high heat. It is book one of four in the series. So when I end up desperate for money and out of options, I agree to sell the one thing I have left: my innocence. And no matter how much I try to deny the terrifying attraction that pulses between us, I know if I don’t find a way out of this tangled web soon…

I’ve got a list with six names on it. Six people who wronged me, who hurt me, who took everything from me. Six people who turned me into the monster I am now. I know they said there’s no spice scene until the last 20% which was totally fine with me. however she added a lil foreplay throughout the book but it was the WORST foreplay i’ve ever read. like i didn’t understand what i was reading 🤨. she said he stepped inbetween her legs barely pressed against her but she already reaching an orgasmic high????? SHE WASNT EVEN RIDING HIS THIGH!!! SO HOW DID SHE GET OFF????? MATH AINT MATHING!!!!! I actually wish we got more chapters from each of the brothers, because those are always my favourite and I felt like we got just a way higher percentage of Willow's dialogue than the brothers and I found myself getting a little bored with Willow sometimes. She's really sweet and plain but I kind of like my FMC's a tad more badass and mouthy 🫢 But I have a feeling that she will grow as a person after everything she's been through and we'll see her progress in the third book. Sometimes the people you love turn your love against you, and it’s the most brutal weapon in the world.”These three dangerous brothers will do anything to make sure I keep my mouth shut about what I saw, even if it means stalking my every movement. I’m a loose thread to them—but somehow, I’m becoming more than that too.

Her stories just feel like she’s a pro. Her prose isn’t anything special, it’s simple and straightforward. But she clearly knows what she’s doing. Her stories flow well, don’t have clunky sentences or plotting, are good at setting up the story immediately (not taking a long time to do it). Her RHs are also good at having heroes with distinctive personalities who don’t all blend together – and, they establish the hero personalities immediately. I never spend a long time having to be like “which guy is which, again?” the way I do for a lot of RHs. They're well paced, I never read a chapter where it feels like nothing happened. Nothing makes sense anymore, and if I thought I might find some peace in knowing that the men who hurt us are dead, I was wrong.Okay it took me a little longer to finish this book than I usually would. But it was mainly because my mind was really cloudy with work stuff, I think. I had some trouble getting through it at the beginning of the book because it felt really slow to me and not much was happening. But my friend told me I had to keep reading so I did. And I'm soooo happy I continued! Because it ended up being amazing 💖 I love the concept of this story. It wasn’t too long ago that I was a broke college girl myself, not that I was selling my virginity, but you can bet I thought about selling feet pics a time or two! Then you mix in some bad boy brothers in a RH romance and I’m sold! Then we get to the actual spice scene and it was decent but like i ain’t feel nothing. it was mediocre at best… built all that tension just to get one spark. NAH HONEY AFTER ALL OF THAT BUILDUP I WANT THE ENTIRE FOURTH OF JULY SPECTACULAR!!
