A self-professed travel enthusiast, she loves incorporating beautiful destinations into her stories and will never say no to a good chai latte. But when her brother abdicates, she’s suddenly faced with the prospect of a loveless, politically expedient marriage and a throne she never wanted.

Now, moving on to the sex scenes. Probably the most hilarious thing I have ever read in my life. Christian Grey comparison aside, we get the most AMAZING LINES I HAVE EVER READ in my book blogger career. anyway, the only person i genuinely feel somewhat interested in is jules. i hope joshy doesn't ruin their book a lot for me xx

It pains me to say this entire review constitutes of quotes from this book, because honestly? It's all I needed. It's embarrassing enough on it's own. I hardly did any work here. Stoic, broody, and arrogant, elite bodyguard Rhys Larsen has two rules: 1) Protect his clients at all costs 2) Do not become emotionally involved. Ever. Exhibit B: How he threatened Madeline and her father's company after he found out she pushed Ava to the pool. Maybe not the “too fast” part, as Alex Volkov had stolen my heart, bit by bit, over the years, even before I thought I liked him.❞ I feel like one will either love these books or absolutely hate them. The tropes in these books are so specific that I can see why some people hate them - Brother's Best Friend, Best friend's Brother, Neighbours, Forced Proximity, Grumpy Sunshine, Billionaire, College Romance, You Touch Her You Die, Mafia Romance, Alpha Male. If any of these tropes sound unappealing to you, then this series might not be for you. If you do like these tropes, you will probably love this series.

Bridget von Ascheberg. A princess with a stubborn streak that matches his own and a hidden fire that reduces his rules to ash.

WARNING! This review contains SPOILERS. Please refrain from reading it if you don't want to know what happens in the books. Stella 4.0 stars. Best girl award. Loved when she stood up for herself against her family and when she broke up with Christian. Ana Huang made her a little inconsistent in the middle of the book, but that's not our girl's fault! Blame Ana Huang. She was mine. She just didn't know it yet. I hadn't known it myself until I saw her in Colton's arms and every instinct raged at me to tear her away. To claim what belonged to me."

Anyways Alex is my 3rd favorite man I love them all but Christian is more in his emotions than him and Rhys deserves the world. Don’t get me wrong tho Alex and Ava are definitely one of my favorite couples they just compliment each other in a way. This book is my 3rd favorite in the series even tho I love them all. Alex and Ava hold a special place in my heart 🤍 Twisted Lies was alright. The story of Stella and Christian was hard to follow. The ending of this story is not like the other three, and that's how I personally feel. Alex, our main character. CEO, billionaire, with an IQ of 190, hates beer, he is not scared of anything, not even bears. Won't kiss during sex, because he hates intimacy. He hates birthdays because everyone has one. He thinks everyone wants him for his magnificent shlong. He has been controlling his family's company since he was 14, because he was always knew he would be CEO one day and his uncle would listen to his 14 YEAR OLD DEMANDS. He also slut shames his own friends.

But despite her broken past, she’s never stopped seeing the beauty in the world…including the heart beneath the icy exterior of a man she shouldn’t want. Frequently Asked Questions About the Twisted Love Series: Who is the Author of the Twisted Love Series? I have reviewed each book in the series separately as well, feel free to read those if you want more details on why I rated the characters as I have. IT IS LIKE I AM READING THE WORST TINDER BIO EVER WRITTEN. But yet quite possible to exist out there somewhere, the bio under some guy named Rey who lives in Florida and is a republican who hates women. He has little use for morals and even less use for love, but he can’t deny the strange pull he feels toward the woman living just one floor below him.

I hated Vicious. Not because of the bully aspect but because I felt zero chemistry between Emilia and Vicious and I found the sex to be poorly written. I also found Vicious's possessiveness and jealousy to be creepy. I don't know, personal preference I guess. Unlike Vicious, I couldn't help but love the tension between Alex and Ava. It was clearly there, and while it was angsty at times, it was also soft and beautiful. I never found Alex to be creepy like Vicious, which saved part of the story for me. But, after finishing Twisted Love, there were a lot of things that were similar to Vicious that ruined the story a little for me. However, I HAVE TO MENTION the best trope of all. The one that brought tears to my eyes. The "I AM NOT LIKE OTHER GUYS!!!!!" but I will talk exactly like Christian Grey every time I get the chance. (so he kind is like one guy) Mmm this is honestly such a hard review to write because this was such a confusing reading experience for me. On one hand, I really liked this book but on the other, I really didn’t. I will try to be as thorough as I possibly can in this review so let’s get on with it... Outgoing and ambitious, Jules Ambrose is a former party girl who’s focused on one thing: passing the attorney’s bar exam. Along with that, I felt like the twists were predictable. I liked the mystery they added to the plot, but guessing the twists ruins the story for me. Adding on to that, it made the story drag a little. First, it felt like I was reading a romance story, then I was suddenly entering crime scenes with hints of suspense. The first half was better than the second half, in my opinion, although the groveling in the ending made up for it.
