Thanks to the wide choice of PNP coils, there is something to suit almost any type of vaping. Although good performers, these coils leaked some ejuice even with 80VG. I didn’t have any messes or ejuice pouring out of the airflow holes but ejuice collected in the base of the airflow control ring. It was never a substantial amount of ejuice but enough to be noticeable and to warrant mentioning. The Connection plate is 20mm (but the mod can comfortably fit a 26mm tank). The Drag 3 marks Voopoo’s first return to a dual battery 510 mod since the Argus GT of last year. It takes two 18650 batteries and uses the Gene.Fan 2.0 chipset to fire at up to 177W. The kit comes with the TPP Tank and a 510 adapter that allows it to be used on the Drag 3 and any other mod with a 510 connection. This TPP Tank is also compatible with previous Voopoo pod mods like the Argus, Argus Pro, Argus X, Drag Max, Drag X & Drag S. Likewise, the 510 adapter allows the Drag 3 to be used with all PnP tanks. The VooPoo DRAG 3 arrived for review about a while ago and initially I was super excited, but after reviewing the DRAG X Plus, I’m not sure what to expect.With a mesh coil design at 0.3ohms, the PnP-VM1 comes with recommended wattage between 32-40W. Making its first appearance with the launch of the Vinci Pod Mod kit, the PnP-VM1 is a great DTL coil option which creates decent tasting flavour with satisfactory vapour production.

Launched with the Vinci 3 Pod Vape Kit, these series of coils deliver a loose drawing MTL vaping experience for use with Nic Salt and Freebase e-liquids. Way down at 50W, 15w below the best recommended wattage, it is pretty good, it’s prominent and almost fills the mouth. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not the best flavour but it’s definitely impressive for 15w below recommended. The cloud production is medium. Either way, to give the coils the best chance possible, I’m also using a different flavour. DRAG 3’ is stamped quite big into on side of the leather while the other side has a fairly small VooPoo logo Stamped in on the corner. The first is the ‘Iron Theme’. This is basically the portrait theme we are used to seeing with the battery indicator bars (one for each battery) in the top right and with the ‘DRAG’ logo in the top left. it has an adjustable airflow ring, which is sufficiently open for a nice airy DTL draw, but when it’s fully shut off it still lets in a bit too much airflow to provide a true MTL experience (which is OK because it wasn’t designed for MTL. TPP Pod Tank (Pod Section) Wattage mode works as it should. It fires instantly and delivers consistent power. Temperature Control mode is also pretty good. TCR for stainless steel only goes down to 1000 so this is the value I used for SS316L. While it can be inconsistent at times, it’s very usable and never once gave me a dry hit. It’s not the best TC out there by any means but I don’t mind using it at all.
