In the EOL support phase, a SW upgrade of the product to a newer existing release will also be seen as a fix to the SW bug. Providing a fix may not be possible in some cases due to the limitation of hardware or software architecture, and Yealink in its sole discretion will determine what fixes, if any, will be provided.

Assigning a user to a handset allows the handset configuration to adopt information previously configured on the user. The handset will gain the extension number and any direct dial numbers assigned to the user; this means the handset will ring any time the extension or DID receives a call. Do not unplug the base unit from the power while any of the LED lights are blinking. The base may restart several times during this process and is finished when the Power and Network LEDs are solid green. When prompted, dial the extension number against which you wish to park the call, followed by the Pound (#) sign to park the call against your own number. When receiving an incoming call, press (do not hold) the Park key to park the call on one of the shared lines. You can also dial the Pound (#) key to retrieve the call parked against the number from which you are calling.The Yealink W60B is a powerful scalable DECT Base that supports up to 8 handsets, 8 SIP accounts and 8 concurrent calls. Provisioning will start immediately after the base unit is powered up and has detected an internet connection.

When purchasing a Yealink W52P/W56B base unit and W52H Cordless handset(s) OR Yealink W60B/W70B base unit and W56H Cordless handset, through HostPilot or directly from a sales representative, the devices will automatically appear on your Devices list. Most of the provisioning process is plug and play, however, you still need to assign handsets to the base in HostPilot, assign users to handsets, and register the handsets to the base unit. The SCA softkey or (Shared Call Appearance) allows you to see lines of each handset paired to a base. Find a good central location for the base unit to reside; you want to make sure that all handsets get equal coverage. You can assign specific incoming lines to ring to your handset. Your handset will only ring for the incoming lines assigned, not all lines. When receiving an incoming call, press and hold the desired line key, then press the Park Softkey. This will park the call on one of the call park lines. If done correctly, a parked symbol is shown on the line the call was parked.

Yealink W56H DECT Handset Overview

There are no exceptions to this rule; both bases and handsets work on different firmware versions that are dependent on their respective devices. Enhanced Call Park is used to park and retrieve calls between users within the same organization using the line keys on your desk phone. The Yealink W56H is a DECT telephone handset that is compatible with the Yealink W56P base station. Equipped with a speakerphone, this handset allows for hands-free communication. It supports a single base capability, meaning that it can be used with one base station. Press Up or Down to highlight the desired base (in most cases this will be Base1), and then press the OK soft key. The handset will now begin to search for the base station.
