Description

The Weavers Circle really is a fabulous series, it's an interesting take on elemental magic blended with the otherworldly villains. The ending made me happy, and I think the series has huge promise. Though this book was enjoyable, I hope the world-building continues to grow with each subsequent book in the series.

And it was super sweet that they fell for each other even though they thought there was someone else out there for Hale. As a narrative choice, I appreciated that they had a connection from the start and that both were drawn to the other. I also appreciated Harrison's very possessive nature even while he fought against his attraction. The powers of the first three " brothers" were intriguing, but still left them outmatched against their powerful, otherworldly foes, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what magical abilities the remaining three Weavers will add to the mix in the upcoming books to help level the playing field.

Take a circular object or circle template and place it over the warp. Take a marker and mark the circle outline on the warp. All this, with more to come for less than a cup of coffee or tea for a week! Although if you wish to support us in getting one of those, you can also “buy me a coffee.” here

This concluding book in the Weavers series is everything you want and need it to be. We get to know Hale, the sixth Weaver as well as a new part of the process, The Keeper, Harrison, who has trained all his life to help the Weavers complete the spell to close the rift and save Earth. And of course we get the final battle. Their romance seemed like a bit of a combination of slow-burn and insta-love, mainly because the entire book took place over the course of one week, two at most, if I'm being generous. Harrison did seem to hold the growing feelings at bay for quite a while, but time-wise, it still wasn't that many actual days before they were giving in and together.

The Keeper has the job of holding some piece of magic that helps the Weavers in them closing the rift between their world and the Pestilent world. Warnings = For some, the Insta-love might be a problem. It didn't feel completely "organic" to me even with taking into consideration fated mates. There didn't seem to be a lot of attraction or chemistry before they were suddenly making declarations. We want to reinforce that this is not the place to learn weaving from scratch. We highly encourage you to start by learning the basics of weaving in a class of some type (evening, online, full-time) and move on to my free youtube videos (with ads) BEFORE joining the Weavers’ Circle. We hope you can get the most out of the Weavers’ Circle, and this suggested approach will ensure that you are ready for the content here.

Baer and Wiley are attracted to each other but it takes them a minute to act on it. Baer is hoping to find his soul mate and Wiley is wishing he was the man to fit that role. Baer is afraid to start something with Wiley because he knows his soul mate is out there and he doesn't want to hurt Wiley. But the attraction is too strong not to act on it. They fall pretty hard for each other and you can guess what comes from their relationship. But until then it is really sweet to see how Wiley helps ground Baer and makes him think instead of just reacting. And seeing Baer take charge in making sure that Wiley understands how important his mental health is and that he cares enough to put his needs first was swoon worthy. I loved that. The authors do a great job of giving us character development via both the forward progress of the story arc and the relationship development. Wiley’s OCD is an interesting twist and enables us to learn more about Baer but I kind of expected it to play more of a role in the story. It seems to almost become an afterthought by the end which is odd as it was so prominent to start. Wiley is a sweet character and you just ache for him to get the things his heart is craving. Dane knew restoring the old plantation house wasn’t going to be an easy job, but at least none of the clients were going to be underfoot. Since losing his wife and child, the only way Dane can keep going is to focus on the work.

I found the story so interesting. And the weavers are the six men, called that because the goddesses "weave" their different types of magic into all six men so that they become one in magical sense. They are all like brothers as well.

As Epilogues go too, we get a wonderful rounding off of each of the six Weavers' futures and a very definite HEA for all. Basically, it was a good campy read that did not always flow smoothly, but was still worth a read. It did not seem that it will be particularly memorable with the passage of time.An interesting and exciting start to a new series. Definitely going to start the next one...prolly now. When you weave the top half of the circle, weave the same amount of straight rows as you counted on the bottom half.
