About this deal

The plaque is made of plastic, but it’s designed to look like a piece of wood cut from a tree trunk, which I think works really well. In the middle of the plaque is the hand imprint, which is the perfect size for children (it’s just a teeny bit too small for me to comfortably fit my hand in). Maintaining a dental hygiene routine at home: Experts recommend brushing your teeth twice a day for two to three minutes each time with a toothpaste containing fluoride, and flossing your teeth at least once daily. This helps remove stubborn food particles that contribute to the formation of plaque. In addition, using a mouthwash can help kill off some of the bacteria that cause plaque. Keep in mind that mouthwash won't physically remove the plaque itself, so it should never replace brushing and flossing. So, in the end, we all have to find our own ways of helping kids come to terms with their fears and anxieties. For me, accepting them is an important part of overcoming them, so I prefer something like the Worry Eater for helping kids verbalise their concerns – without trying to persuade them that they’ll disappear. What happens if the same worry hits the next day? I’ve written about being the mum whose kid won't settle at nursery, as well as about my own recent encounter with anxiety – so you can imagine why this idea really gripped me. The worry plaque is a wonderfully inventive toy that combines the awareness that children have worries with children’s capacity for magical thinking. The worry plaque creates opportunities for families’ to develop emotional language that might otherwise be missed, as parents and children protect one another from worries,' child and adolescent psychotherapist Maria McGrane said.

Arthur has become so much more confident in going to playschool. He is interacting more with his friends and is overall happiness has improved! He isn’t as worried as he once was and when it comes to playschool he simply has no worries at all! This is down to The Magic Fairy Worry Plaque! She has taken to the worry plaque and actually carries it around the house with her. She talks to it and tells me she is talking to the fairies. I think if she was a little bit older she might have the understanding to use it for it’s intended purpose. Ethan’s Verdict Ethan didn’t understand the concept of worries but we haven’t reached a place in his development where we can talk about his worries. He did love the visual colours of the worry plaque which is very positive. I think when Ethan’s understanding and communication have improved the visual side of the worry plaque will be a big help. Rhys seems really taken with the idea behind the worry plaque. Although he’s a bit confused about the fact that it lights up, and the light changes colour, even if he’s not thinking of a worry at that time. So I think we’ll keep the plaque somewhere out of reach and get it out for him when he actually has something he is anxious about. Hopefully that way he’ll keep his faith in it, and it’ll work its magic to help take his worries away. National Institutes of Health: National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. Oral hygiene.Pleural plaques aren’t the same as asbestosis and they aren’t a form of cancer. Symptoms of pleural plaques At this point, Arthur was going to playschool and to a Toddler Group on Monday. We stopped attending Toddler Group in the hope that he would be happier on the days we went to playschool. It worked! but it didn’t last. I was on the brink of despair contemplating on removing him from playschool. Something I really didn’t want to do. The worry plaque has arrived! The worry plaque is a really wonderful idea, from a company that specialises is bringing fairy magic to the lives of children.

Arthur has always been quiet. Ever since he was a baby he has never been to sure of things and looks to me or his dad for support. When he started Playschool November last year his confidence seemed to have tumbled. Some days he would go in quite happy but the majority of the times its fighting a battle. From the 2 minute walk from dropping his brothers off to playschool all, i would hear was “I don’t want to go to playschool”, “I’ll be good mummy!”. It broke my heart! For younger children who still believe in fairies and all things magical, it’s a wonderful idea for helping them to let their worries and anxieties out.
