My understanding is that the Satellite Units should still wirelessly trigger the Relay Modules via the Hard-wired Co-ordinator Pigtail. (just waiting for confirmation from Kidde Support to validate that, but intuitively appears to sound like the case) This beautiful-looking smoke detector sends messages to your smartphone. It also has a color-changing ring of light and gives verbal notices when there's a problem instead of emitting shrill chirping noises. If you have multiple Nest devices set up in your home and one of them detects danger, it will alert you to a specific location by saying things like, "There's smoke in the living room." It will also send a similar message to your smartphone in case you're away. You'll always know exactly where the problem is coming from. dev:4252022-12-21 11:07:11.318 PM infoSmoke Detector Debug logging will be automatically switched off after 24 hours Looking through the Kidde Product Portfolio I found some products which could create an interesting setup: dev:4252022-12-21 11:06:33.326 PM debugSmoke Detector description is catchall: 0000 0013 00 00 0040 00 DBF9 00 00 0000 00 00 85F9DB92CFCCFEFF72025C80dev:4252022-12-21 10:54:41.658 PM debugTuya Multi Sensor 4 In 1 parse(_TYZB01_dsjszp0x) descMap = [raw:catchall: 0000 8021 00 00 0040 00 0386 00 00 0000 00 00 538C, profileId:0000, clusterId:8021, clusterInt:32801, sourceEndpoint:00, destinationEndpoint:00, options:0040, messageType:00, dni:0386, isClusterSpecific:false, isManufacturerSpecific:false, manufacturerId:0000, command:00, direction:00, data:[53, 8C]] I know, there are a lot of topics/questions about smoke alarms in this forum, but they tend to deviate from the initial question. dev:4252022-12-21 10:54:40.314 PM debugTuya Multi Sensor 4 In 1 parse(_TYZB01_dsjszp0x) descMap = [raw:catchall: 0104 0000 01 01 0040 00 0386 00 00 0000 04 01 86DEFF, profileId:0104, clusterId:0000, clusterInt:0, sourceEndpoint:01, destinationEndpoint:01, options:0040, messageType:00, dni:0386, isClusterSpecific:false, isManufacturerSpecific:false, manufacturerId:0000, command:04, direction:01, data:[86, DE, FF]]

The configuration process is important to tell the device that it should report states to the coordinator (home assistant) which is what the bindings are for.

We are

This gets on our best SmartThings smoke detector list because of its ease of install, battery life, price, and reliability. It’s powered by 2 AA batteries and is both zwave and zigbee wireless. To pair, simply install the batteries, hold the ON button down, and push in the battery compartment while adding the device to the ST app. The last thing you want to do is invest time and money into a new product just because it’s compatible with SmartThings, only to discover the company is going out of business. Leeo is a perfect example of this. You apparently found the automatically closed github topic for the HS1AS-E https://github.com/zigpy/zha-device-handlers/issues/518 . Please tell me how many times you had a false alarm on your smoke detector which went on for hours?
