Okay, to avoid discussions on batches and production dates: I bought my bottle very recently (January 2022) in a discount using Notino in the EU.
By the way I already own IP2 and although I like it, it only seems to own a bit of resemblance in the late drydown of the Aventus (I'm talking 6+hours). Also tried CDNMI and it's a reaaally nice perfume and clone but it's far from equal either. Like Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man, Lamborghini Invincibile, Mancera Cedrat Boise, Montblanc Explorer, Al Haramain L'Adventure and Princesse Marina De Bourbon Monsieur Le Prince Intense (dang, what a long name), all of which I also own, Afnan Supremacy Silver is its own Aventus-ey style fragrance that would not be redundant in a collection. I believe that Aventus and Co. is more of a head note seducer and I believe that its success in the market is due to the fact that many people like the head note. I have now finally understood that this fragrance with its deceptive, complacent, lifeless manner will never suit me. Today, I tried Afnan on one hand and a current Aventus batch on the other. I do not know the specific batch number since it was just sample from the Creed counter at Neiman's. There was no batch number on the tester. Now this particular batch is less fruity so the comparisons were definitely closer. The Afnan had more of a sharper smell to it but ALMOST identical with the Aventus in the first 20 mins. They both dry down about the same with the Afnan being a little more synthetic.There's also somehow a bit of a leathery accord; I'm guessing it's an amalgamation of different facets of the notes found throughout mingling with the saffron in the base. Aventus would be a freshly carbonated lime soda with bubbles and freshness while Afnan would be a flat lime soda. The smell is there but the quality isn't as vibrant. If that makes any sense?! I'm trying to paint a picture lol.
There is a one time that I do 6 spray in 5:20 AM , arrive at 8:40 AM in my Girlfriend house , she was inside near the window while im still walking in their patio, she yelled how strong the scent was, it was approximately 2meters away .. At that time I thought to myself that my fragrance has faded after that long travel. This fragrance can cause anosmia, this thing sits on the air !!!
At first I was a bit underwhelmed, the initial performance live the hype, after 3 full wearing I let my bottle rest for a month. Now, there is drastic improvement on performance! Overall: I give the clear nod to Not Only Intense. When it comes to CDNIM, just save money and get the original edt. There's almost no difference at all.
Flacon looks good. Nice closure and mirrored slightly transparent. spray head is also ok. At least the bottle doesn't look cheap. Note: Whatever is mentioned above is my personal opinion based on my personal experience. Other community members may differ and I do respect opinion of others. I've also tried the Rasasi Zebra one, original CDNIM and Explorer and I prefer CDNIM Parfum LE or SNOI to all of those. Compared to the other clones, this one comes a little closer to the original, since the Annanas note is clearly perceptible.The performance isn’t anything to write home about. It is a scent that I love smelling on myself and I think that is why I become nose blind to it after two hours. However, others can still smell it on me for more than six hours after applying it, while others state that it is more of a skin scent around the 2 hour mark… However, I can smell it on clothes days after as well, so maybe it’s just my skin chemistry. Ez a Club de Nuit Intense, Mont Blanc Explorer, Al Haramain, Mercedes Benz "Aventus" klónoknál sokszorta jobb(an) hasonlít az eredeti ( nem mostani kiadású ) Aventusra. Szerintem ez viselhető, minőségi illat, ez gyümölcsös, ananászos illat. Sillage nem tűnik túl nagynak, a tartósságát nem tudom, mert kb 3 órája fújtam a karomra, de ettől nem lettem rosszul. A CDNIM nekem csak a szintetikus, szúró citromillatot hozza ( edt, eaup, p is ), a Mercedes Benz érzek valami bántó illatot a citrom mellett és az illat maga nagyon gyorsan elillant, a MBExplorer már egy fokkal viselhetőbb számomra a fentiek után, de még mindig a citrust érzem rajta. Az Al Haramain-t régen vettem, de akkor se fújtam magamra, mert annyira szintetikusnak, vegyszerszagúnak éreztem ( most meg egyszerűen tönkrement és szimplán csak büdös ). And a smart perfumer like me never gives up. He has sold all previous fragrances because he was never satisfied with them. And yet he missed her again and again. So, Afnan's Supremacy Silver is bought at the Souk. "So I buy that now and keep it, Hopefully the test turns out positive." Edit: After a week of leaving the cap opened and spray a few sprays, it is true that this is the closest clone to Aventus hand down.
