Amethyst' was strong on my radar thanks to Glam Finds and Joy Amin. Pleased to say it's another gorgeously SEXY banger! This is in the same category as PDM Delina, Mugler Angel Nova, Nina Ricci L'extase Rose Absolue & Initio's Atomic Rose but mostly 'Atomic Rose'.

In summary, if you're seeking a fragrance that combines olfactory craftsmanship with bold, unapologetic audacity, this is an essential addition to your collection. Consider your other fragrances not just warned, but completely overshadowed: there's a new masterpiece in town. As someone who's a big fan of the rubbery scent of car tires in perfumes and the striking, almost mystical similarities to BR540, this fragrance hits all the spots, enveloping you in a sensory journey that persists well after the bottle is sealed. Opens up with a blast of a soft dessert-like pineapple then transforms into a sweet warm spicy vanilla. It gives of a visual of laying on a soft white plush blanket after you just baked a pineapple upside down cake. Later on, the mid-dry drown comes in and it reminds me of a slightly softer & spicier Invictus Victory Elixir (maybe spicier because of the cinnamon & turmeric but still very vanilla). The final dry down ends with a sweet vanilla creme brûlée with burnt sugar on top riding off deep into the night sky. This one definitely takes you on a journey but also stays consistent! This is quite dry and not as sweet as other oud colognes I've tested or used. Oud is a very polarizing aroma. I can see why people describe it as "old tire" smell. This proudly wears its oud patch on its sleeve and doesn't soften the blow at all with any added sweetness. Bear this in mind when using, as oud is still a very polarizing aroma. The opening has a strong hit of alcohol and takes a couple of minutes to settle down. This can be misleading, so let it settle first. The base notes of Vanilla, Cashmeran, Sandalwood, and Moss provide a solid and long-lasting foundation for the fragrance. Vanilla adds a creamy sweetness, while Cashmeran and Sandalwood contribute a woody and slightly resinous quality. Moss adds a touch of earthiness, enhancing the overall depth of the scent. It is certainly very rich, dense and fashioned in the Arabian style and not for the faint of heart. The spray that I do on my wrists before work really lasts me the entire shift and I can’t keep sniffing my wrist it really smells nice and that’s coming from someone who never thought would be wearing Oud. I wear this morning, night, right after shower, and when I am going to work. I mean I am really obsessed. I came to realize that I really enjoy anything that has cinnamon in it, e.g. Armani Si Intense, La Belle La Parfum intense by JBG also. These are different, but there is a similar saffron-oud vibe. This is softer, and less sweet than BR540. Both have well above average performance, but BR540 outperforms. This to me is the absolute best oud-centric fragrance you can buy, and it's astounding how cheap it is. I honestly think this smells nicer and more expensive than Ombre Nomade. Not that this is a clone of it or anything, but that is often seen as the king of oud-forward scents so I usually compare them to that.

These are different but this is the most similar to Opulent Oud. OR is more complex and has more of a refined feel to it. Both have well above average performance. What I can smell is mainly the cedar, oud, and cinnamon bark. It’s a pretty spicy and oudy dry down for me. I think it leans masculine on me also, I don’t smell the rose in here at all which I’m very sad about because I adore rose in perfumes!

Dried fruits, rose and oud make up the scent profile, similar to Oud Royal, which I love. However I find that Oud Royal could use a touch more sweetness, which I find in Lattafa Opulent Oud. I just got this in the mail today, so this is a first impression. I've not smelled any of the scents this is supposed to dupe, but I've smelled a few rose/ouds in my short time as a perfume FREAK! And what I can tell you is this: Opens up with this gorgeous dark juicy wine-like scent that settles into an ensemble of oud (that's not overly rubbery or skanky), sweet juicy resins and ambers, with a bit of a sugary feel. It's very wearable and very unisex, but I (32M) wear it a lot, and even got my similar aged male friends onto bottles of their own as they also agreed how lovely it is. Also as it's so beautifully cheap I often just wear it in the evenings at home and to bed as it's so lovely. The heart notes of Oud for Glory are a mix of spices, including saffron, cardamom, and cinnamon, that add warmth and depth to the scent. The base notes of amber and musk give it a sweet and creamy undertone that balances the sharpness of the oud. So you just have to say that this fragrance is very creative and I have not yet smelled something comparable.

That is one of the things I LOVE about "Lattafa - Hayaati" and "Lomani - Spirit Millionaire"...the drydown on those is that super strong creamy-woody CASHMERAN that lasts FOR-EVER on my skin!! Honestly I'm so glad that YouTubers raved about this hidden gem. I was worried it might be too mature and synthetic, but that's not the case here.I received Oud For Glory this week, and busy giving it a good test. The lavender is practically non-existent, mate, probably revealing itself only ever so slightly upon first spray. But you will get the rest of the notes listed above more prominently.

Soft & Wearable LAVENDER & NUTMEG Oud-Patchouli-Saffron Blend. Opens with a burst of saffron, lavender & nutmeg with metallic, spicy & aromatic nuances, that deepens into an oud-patchouli heart with warm-spicy, fresh-spicy, woody, leathery & earthy touches, all resting on an oud-patchouli & musk base. Has a Baccarat Rouge 540 vibe but this isn't a dupe, and isn't as sweet. This has a soft, wearability to it, and overall I get an oud-patchouli-saffron blend that's distinguished by lavender & nutmeg in the opening, and soft musk in the drydown, Well above average performance. These are different, but there is again a similar saffron-oud vibe. Instant Crush is sweeter and bolder, while this is softer and personally I find this more wearable. Both have well above average performance, but IC outperforms.First, let me say this: yes this is absolutely a dupe of Initio's Atomic Rose. But no, it is not a perfect clone. The dry-down is where the saltiness of the amber gives the best. Vanilla is there just to sweeten the roses, but I don’t get a gourmand slant of it. Likewise, oud is there to darken the roses, but I don’t get a big blast of it. The oud note always remains contained, almost sedated, never too harsh or raunchy. The oud doesn’t come through until drydown and is more of a supporting note here, anyway. Instead, amber, or better ambroxan, dominates the final stage with its somewhat woody nuance akin to cedar, salty and animalic like the ambergris. I have been avoiding Arabian Oud scents, since I am from the middle east and it smells like every mosque ever. But one day, I wanted to get something that had Oud in it and thought Lattafa will be a good way to start since they’re affordable, right? I got this a week ago, and let me tell you I can’t stop wearing it ever since! I don’t if it’s bec it’s winter, or am I really starting to like middle eastern scents and it’s my new thing maybe, but this is really amazing and worth the try!
