HAVE A FASHION ADVENTURE – Explore, make new friends, play games, and take on quests while reporting for the coolest magazine. Note: Yasmin, Cloe, and Jade were released as part of a first wave, while Sasha, Meygan, and Eitan were released as part of a second wave. May 5: The first sneak peek of Series 3 Tiana is revealed via a StyleCaster article in collaboration with Bratz. This is a follow-up to Mini Bratz x Kylie Jenner Series 1. The second series will feature 6 more mini Kylie dolls, another velvet rope, a telephone booth, a motorcycle, a purple-themed Retro-Swing Chair, a television, and vanity playset. Unsurprisingly, the Series 3 dolls use the original 2001 bodies with the exception of Koby who uses the 2003 Boyz body. While I am not the biggest fan of the original bodies and would like an upgrade in the future, the body keeps in line with the reproductions being mostly faithful to the original dolls. Similar to the Fall 2022 dolls, the body’s plastic is closer to the plastic on the original bodies and is less “matte” like other reproductions released in the past year. Just like the Series 2 dolls, all of the girls have different colored underwear that matches their color palettes! other features

September 16: A pair of Pretty ‘N’ Punk-themed faux eyelashes are released at Hot Topic. The first Bratz World pop-up is found at Walmart. New Bratz cosmetics and merch are found at Walmart. NIGHTLIFE OUTFITS: Cloe includes 2 outfits for tons of mix n match possibilities one for a semi-formal party, and one for chillin out at the after party. In this case, I do believe the Bratz x Kylie dolls utilized the stamp method for the eyes and the spray method for the lips. While I wish the dolls were completely sprayed, I do not mind the use of the stamp method when the dolls look pretty. If the current Bratz roster is utilizing the stamp method, I think this is okay as long as the dolls look good; on that note, the Bratz x Kylie dolls are facially gorgeous aside from placement issues with some batches. THE HAIR In September 2023, Isaac Larian posted a teaser of upcoming Mini Bratz. In the picture, the display shows several new collections to be added to the Mini Bratz lineup, a new PDQ display that does not have repeats, and updated green capsules. Based off what has been revealed to be part of Mini Bratz Series 3 and what is left in the showroom display, Mini Bratz Series 4 will include scaled-down reproductions of: NOTE: Original product description is inaccurate as Formal Funk is no longer one of the lines being produced in Series 1 of the Bratz Minis.

Blaze trails with all the girls, switching between Yasmin, Cloe, Jade, and Sasha at any time from their apartments. June 10: Isaac Larian announces that “something really BIG” will be announced for the Bratz brand will be announced the following week.

To celebrate the Bratz 21st birthday in style, the brands will hit the Goldstein House x Club James in Beverly Hills, Calif. with an exclusive, star-studded event, hosted by Cult Gaia and influencer Stassie Karanikolaou. With “bratty” as the suggested attire, attendees can look forward to channeling ’00 nostalgia by flaunting their favorite halter tops, flared bottoms, and cutout dresses, as well as their unshakeable Bratitude. To highlight the brands’ passion for fashion, Bratz and Cult Gaia have partnered with Up Next Designer Albert Ayal who will be dressing party guests in curated looks from up and coming designers. I want to give a huge conBratzulations to Stephen Sumner for taking on the task of designing a brand-new Sasha for this line! In my opinion, he is a legend in the doll world and has designed for some of my favorite doll lines from the past twenty years—including the Hottiez line, which he co-created! I’ve always wanted to see Stephen work on the Bratz brand since he started working at MGA, so I’m happy to see him stepping into that territory. I also think it is a HUGE deal that MGA and the Bratz team decided to include Sasha in this line, especially because they started from scratch with her and used no source material. Some people can disagree, but I can happily say that Sasha’s design is a perfect addition to this collection and she fits in perfectly while standing out in the way only Sasha can. In September 2023, Isaac Larian posted a teaser of upcoming Mini Bratz. In the picture, the display shows several new collections to be added to the Mini Bratz lineup, a new PDQ display that does not have repeats, and updated green capsules. MGA has partnered with leading fashion brand Cult Gaia to celebrate Bratz 21 st birthday and Cult Gaia’s 10 thAnniversary, as well as to pay homage to the unique connection between the two brands. Twenty-one years ago when Jasmin Larian Hekmat was only 12 years old, her father, Isaac Larian, Founder and CEO of MGA Entertainment, sought her help on early concepts of Bratz dolls. Today, as Founder and CEO of Cult Gaia, Jasmin attributes much of her creative influence to her time spent designing miniature collections for the dolls, and while focusing on the fashion brand, she remains close to Bratz as Creative Director for the doll line today.September 1: Links for GNO Sasha and Cloe are found. New Bratz jewelry and apparel are made available at Spencer’s. Welcome to the Bratz 2023 Masterpost! You know the drill! New year, new Bratz! This post will act as an organized for Bratz fans regarding news that comes out this year, and will be consistently updated with news as it comes out. If it’s not in this article, then I don’t have information on it. timeline of news July 12: Images of reproductions of XPress It! Meygan, Formal Funk Runway Disco Nevra, Wild Wild West Kiana, and Ooh La La Kumi are leaked.

April 28: The official MGA Entertainment newsletter confirms that the Bratz Minis are expected to be released in August. The characters for this collection will be Dana, Fianna, Felicia, Tiana, and Koby. This collection will consist of reproductions of Funk ‘N’ Glow (Second Edition) Dana, Funk Out! Fianna, Campfire Felicia, Welcome To Fabulous Tiana, and Nu-Cool Koby. Just like the face printing method section, feel free to skip this section if you’ve already read my explanations on the differences between Bratz hair types! Nylon hair appears to be a new standard for the Bratz brand, as is the case for most MGA doll brands (except for Dream Ella who has been using polypropylene, sorry girl!) since 2019, which is something I fully support. For some context on some of the different hair types used on Bratz, nylon has often been confused with polypropylene, which is a hair fiber that was used in a majority of lines between 2008-2013 and is known for being hard to manage and prone to degrading over time, because of a name mix-up over a decade ago. Saran—which has been used on most Bratz released between 2001-2007, 2015-2018, and on most of the Bratz 20 Yearz Special Edition dolls (except for some later variants which use nylon) released last year—is a great hair fiber that has always satisfied collectors, though it is prone to yellowing and degrading over time. Nylon is another premium hair type that can be easily restyled with heated hair tools and is less likely to degrade over time like saran and polypropylene can do. Saran hair is harder to come by in certain colors and is not as commonly used in modern doll productions, so nylon provides a way for consumers to have these hair colors without resorting to using low-grade polypropylene. Nylon also tends to feel really nice and oftentimes better than saran, so I hope this is something that stays for most—if not all—future Bratz doll releases. June 20: Boxed pictures of Series 3 Dana and Felicia are posted to AndysToyChest.com, an independent toy retailer. October 20: Mowalola confirms that the Mowalola x Bratz dolls are expected to launch in November. (This release date is later changed.) Are you wondering what head mold and face application is used on the Series 3 dolls? The Series 3 dolls use the original 2001 head mold (with the exception of Koby who uses the 2003 Boyz head) and spray method for their face application.
