I timed how long it took 2 people on Youtube to thread the lower loopers of the Brother 4234d and the outdated Janome 8002d. (The videos are by Ken’s Sewing Center and Syakademiet). I bought this in 2018 because I was starting to sew jersey clothes and my sewing machine couldn’t cope (so many skipped stitches!). The dealer I spoke to recommended this model because he knew I wanted a well-built machine. The 3034DWT is a good choice for sewers who just want the main 3 or 4 thread stitches, easy threading, and don’t want to spend too much.
