A more Premium update on their standard bottling. The only difference is the colour of the bottle and the metal X on the front of the bottle. Everything else – bottle shape, cork stopper is as can be found on Bumbu The Original.

Pineapple and orange juice are a great compliment to the Bumbu rum. The sweetness of the pineapple juice really brings out the flavor of the rum, while the acidity of the orange juice helps to balance it out. Club soda is a great way to top off this drink, as it adds a bit of effervescence that really makes the flavors pop. Garnishing with a mint sprig is also a nice touch, as it adds a bit of freshness to the drink. Can You Mix Rum And Sprite?Finish wise – there pretty much isn’t one. There is a slight note of marmalade and a little light cinnamon but little else. It’s very very short finish wise.

It is made with a blend of spices and natural flavors, including vanilla and caramel. The rum is aged in oak barrels for a minimum of six months. There is no sugar added to Bumbu Rum. How Old Is Bumbu Original? Bumbu rum does have a strong banana flavor and scent to it. Besides banana, other flavors like vanilla, caramel, almonds, and coconut are present. The rum is made with fresh sugarcane and molasses, giving it a unique flavor profile that is diffeent from other types of rum. What Does Bumbu Rum Taste Like?

Bumbu Rum Company is pleased to announce Bumbu XO, a small-batch ultra-premium rum aged up to 18 years in bourbon barrels and finished in white oak sherry barrels from Andalusia, Spain. Bumbu XO is distilled and aged at a 120-year old Panamanian distillery and proudly uses only local sugarcane and pure spring water. Unlike Bumbu The Original Bumbu XO Rum is actually legally a “rum” in the UK and the EU. It is bottled at over 37%. It comes in at 40% ABV. When ran through the Hydrometer it bobs at 35% ABV which suggests around 19 g/L of additives. Much less than The Original which had around 40g/L of additives. Bumbu got its start as a spiced rum, with cane sugar sourced from throughout Latin America and distilled in Barbados before being spiced up to pair with your bottle of cola. Bumbu The Original’s base spirit is made at WIRD (West Indies Rum Distillery). WIRD is now part owned by Cognac Ferrand. Who in turn own Plantation Rum. This is similar to something Plantation might put out. I do think they would have made a better job of it though.
