Warning: If the coils has a sub-ohm resistance, please make sure you have a great understanding and technical knowledge on how to use mods and batteries that can handle Sub-Ohm coils. Do not use short or flat 510 connection on any hybrid or hybrid style device. If you are not familiar or unsure of particular products or set-ups, please do not use it. Unfortunately the filling process is not always mess free, I often end up with e-liquid sitting on the top of the pod which you need to wipe off before replacing the mouthpiece to prevent a big glug of e-liquid in your mouth. I give the OXVA Xlim 0.8ohm V2 pods 10/10 and this A3 pod is pretty close at 9.5/10! The only slight criticism is it is a dry vapour. Not as “juicy” as the OXVA. Of course this really helps mimic the dryness you get from cigarette smoke so it gives a very similar sensation to smoking. You can either remove the pod from the device or keep it installed. I did find it easier to remove the mouthpiece with the pod still in the body. Same battery life, same flavor output, and same ease of use. The AK2 is actually a little easier to use than the A2 because it does not have any buttons, but this also means there’s no button activated firing. That shouldn’t be an issue though because the draw activated firing on the AK2 is fine-tuned and works remarkably well.

Utilising the Caliburn A2 disposble pods which have an integrate coil and will last for a while, simply fill up multiple times and once the coil has reached its lifespan which is usually indiciated by a loss of vapour production, Taste and a slight dry sensation just dispose of the pod and replace. The A2 pods are best used with 50/50 or Higher PG liquid. Filling. It’s as simple as the original. Just snap off the mouthpiece, and fill using the red silicone fill port. Too easy. You will then be asked to verify your details by a number of means; Mobile Phone, Credit Card, Debit Card, UK Driving Licence, Citizencard, National DB or Electoral Roll. No fire button – if your Auto Draw system fails (it did on one of my original Caliburns) the kit is scrap Adding to the good results is the fact that the AK2 pods don’t leak. My pod and pod connection have both remained nearly completely dry during my testing, save for traces of ejuice here and there.
