Description

Cambridge BT100 Bluetooth Apt-X receiver (stream Spotify and ripped content form computer via JRiver Media Player) You can keep it clean easily. There is a display on the front side where you can have information on everything being played or settings used. Cambridge Audio is the brand that is behind the construction and providing this product to you. They have been working for the past 50 years providing excellence, innovation, and value for money. What Sets The Product Apart From Its Competitors? The key features that make this product best in your eyes for your extreme taste in music are described as follows. The differences I heard when comparing playing CDs on the CXC to playing music stored on my Synology NAS to the Pi 4 and converted to Coax out by the Denafrips IRIS II DDC were, for all intents and purposes, not worth mentioning. I’d have been hard pressed to know which was which when listening to the exact same music that was playing from the CD or playing from the file I ripped from that very same CD. They sounded, through the Denafrips ARES II DAC, more or less identical.

As well as the personal information you share with us about yourself and your Cambridge Audio product, we may collect and handle personal information directly from your Cambridge Audio connected products and Cambridge Audio apps (for example "Melomania App", "StreamMagic App"). A connected product is a Cambridge Audio product that is “smart”, internet enabled or operated through a Cambridge Audio app. Noise in operation. Most older TOTL machines are silent, with heavy sound insulation, again, easily measured. One thing about the CXC I particularly liked was the quiet and smooth disc tray. It was far less buzzy than the norm. It's been a winning option for many years, in various versions, and while it's business as usual on the outside (with typically excellent build quality, we're happy to report), it's on the inside where Marantz has made big improvements. The disc drive in the CXC was originally developed by Cambridge Audio for its high-end 851C CD player. It’s our renowned ‘S3’ servo design, and it has class-leading levels of jitter rejection and error correction – no multi-purpose drive is able to compete with the the CXC’s levels of precision and stability.

The timing is tight and gets your foot tapping almost immediately. We described the original’s sound as ‘wonderfully entertaining’, and it’s nice to hear that Cambridge Audio has retained that quality in the V2. After knowing the pros and cons of this CD player, you have learned much about it, and your mind has a broad understanding of the product. But what if you go into depth? What Is The Product Like Physically?I’m very surprised RS didn’t suggest you audition the Cambridge 851 kit, especially as they’re the CA distributor and used to push their kit as much as possible. It seems that they sadly don’t push the high-end kit enough, no wonder their truly exceptional analogue preamp (the 851E) was recently discontinued. A great shame. To provide updates and services to our connected products (which includes updates and upgrades to software and our apps); To say there is a big difference would not be an exaggeration, the CXC clearly reads better than the Jolida. Playing music that had been ripped to the server via pc was always cleaner than the Jolida, which I had put down to the effects of the valve output and DAC. Comparing digital out on the Jolida to the CXC there is a vast difference with the Cambridge extracting more information (detail, air and ambient space) and less fuzziness (or cleaner sound). The CXC also trumps the sound of the same disc ripped via pc to the server.
