About this deal

There are no known harmful effects when this medicine is used by pregnant or breastfeeding mothers. If you find it hard to use eye drops, ask a pharmacist for advice. 5. Side effects

Optive eye drops contain the two active ingredients - carmellose sodium, which is a type of medicine known as an eye lubricant, and glycerol, which acts as a moisturiser. Medicines and their possible side effects can affect individual people in different ways. The following are some of the side effects that are known to be associated with this medicine. Just because a side effect is stated here, it does not mean that all people using this medicine will experience that or any side effect. After putting in the eye drops you may get slightly blurred vision. If your vision is affected it is recommended that you do not drive or use any machinery until your vision has cleared.
