Ideal after shower, it makes you feel fresh but not perfumed, it is an aroma that only you know you are wearing and you would feel the entire day as if you just stepped out the shower. Most important of all, all the notes of 1 million is constructed around leather, while base of 212 are woods and most notes are different.. Still, it's a very pleasant scent, the passionfruit note is quite noticeable and despite of the spirit drink vibe, don't let the vodka or the gin notes fool you, because the drydown gets minty ambery sweet, but not oversweet, therefore it won't offend anyone. I had an intuitive hunch to try this after smelling this on someone and remarking that it really smelled extremely GOOD on this woman. It was just the right amount of spice and sweetness to have made me ask her what she was wearing.

Most people say it's a clubbing or a night out fragrance and they are correct, but to me, it's pretty versatile as well. You can pull this one anywhere you like, even at the office, in case you wake up in "what a drag" mode to merry things hopefully, but don't push it.So my impressions on this are positive. I can conclude that the vanilla note is very dominant and I am sure you will also smell the vanilla note as long as the fragrance lasts. At the beggining it gives me a sense of freshness, I don't know for sure why, but very probably due to the lavender. You can also sense a light alcoholic vibe maybe due to the absynthe note too. But in general I sense the frangrance is vanilla based and it has a sweet vibe all the way from the beggining to the end. This makes me so nose blind, but what I can say is that I hate the smell of anise but this doesn't smell like that to me. Instead it smells of vodka and menthol, it has that typical vodka smell to it and then add a bit of menthol in here and make it a bit sweeter. Overall I think it's more of an "anti fragrance" meaning you spray this stuff on when you want to smell like something but also smell like nothing. Because this basically doesn't really have any notes in it kinda like the molecule fragrances actually but instead of ambroxan or iso e super you're essentially just spraying yourself with the smell of vodka and aldehydes lmao. I got this some weeks ago, using it in some casual occasions in cold weather. I am not sure if I have one of the first batches, but since the fragrance only released in late August / early September, so I assume yes. My batch code (72051) date is July 2017.

Honestly, the lavender did not make any difference during evolution. In contrast, the base sweetened by vanilla is present from the beginning, remaining throughout the evolution. But what is that Caviar lime? Is the Citrus Australasica - a plant with citrus fruits, peculiar format and fully differentiated pulp, which looks like caviar, but does have a citrus flavor. It can have various colors and is also known as Finger lime. The bottle of 212 Vip Rosé Eau de Parfum is a beauty apart, perhaps the most beautiful of the whole line 212 women, keeping the magnetic cap, but with beautiful finishing in rose gold tones, giving the sensation of luxury and sophistication. I like both.. they are nice scents in their own way. But neither would be a signature scent because after some time they become boring and overhelming. Carolina Herrera VIP Rose has some notes which immediately remind me of Madonna's Truth or Dare Nude, only CH VIP Rose is much softer with a little less silage -- however an incredibly nice smelling perfume.

Edit: i ended up returning the perfume, as i just couldn’t find the right time to wear it, and it would make me a bit nauseous (i think because of the booziness).. Loud and bold projection for the first 2 hours then it clings tightly to the skin, retaining its richness for many hours after. So this one is an interesting one. I grabbed this as a very adventurous blind buy. I like different scents and not boring freshies or blues. UNIQUENESS: 10/10. The combination of absinthe, anise, and fennel gives this fragrance a unique touch. All the times in which I returned with my nose to the place where I sprayed, I felt the Mint well evident, along with the alcohol content. The amber added creaminess, even more by the fact of being allied with the aroma of tonka beans. But there is, indeed, a salty aspect in it. Finally, the King wood gave a drier smell to the fragrance.

After about one hour of its application, loses strength and projection, leaving the fruity side and going to a softer, creamy scent. It is not a perfume that projects a lot, it is intimate, close skin, envelopes you, as the briefing describes, it is a VIP ROSÉ that reins to a VIP party, with few guests, in which not the concern to use a perfume that exhales a lot, but that is close to the skin and to feel it the person has to get close. I think it's a sin to compare it to the traditional 212. They have different proposals since the original is fully floral and this one follows a row over energy, which began with 212 VIP (2010). But I agree that for an Eau de Parfum, the result disappoints a bit because it behaves like an Eau de Toilette.except for one thing - longetivity. It's just dissolving from my skin after nearly 3 hours, I can't even sniff it off my wrists at all after that period. Not sure if it's a matter of skin pH or what, but I feel anytime i find perfumes that I love, they are evaporating in no time, while those I have hard time with (vanilla based with fruit) are there usually until the next day, am I cursed or what? I'm not worried for it's legitimacy as I bought it at trusted store. I already tried to macerate it for one month with no significant results, next step would be layering it with some molecules (not sure which will work the best, but I will try few). Maybe I just have to overspray it, not being a sissy sprayer as some Curlies say haha. This is very classy, elegant, and can be worn for day or evening events. I tried this on actually at work one Friday afternoon and coworkers thought that this was most definitely "my scent" because it melted into my chemistry so well. They all thought I could easily wear it in the office. Longevity is awesome on my skin. Most probably just warm weather appropriate. Will try in winter to see how it wears, but I'm guessing the wood notes would be more pronounced. I agree with Adriana and others below. This is not anything like Euphoria. Euphoria is a spicy Oriental floral suitable to be worn in winter because it's quite heavy, while this is a much lighter floral fruity. Is it very different because it is an EDP? No. The other fragrances of the 212 VIP universe always functioned in a similar way and they were made in Eau de Toilette concentration. The bottle i own is 2022 batch, so looking at the votes for longetivity here (with majority on long lasting), was it reformulated so badly at some point? As some people in the comment section mentioned - this seems to be a clubbing scent, so maybe it will come alive in warmer months (as I'm rather not clubbing person myself), fingers crossed if that's its original purpose.
