Natasha, how do you find ways to include levity in a story such as this?While Gill’s case had its own signature peaks and troughs, the swindler also shared similarities and patterns found in the techniques of other con-artists, both in the types of victims they look for and in the way they’d lie—which ironically would consist of some degree of truth.

When Davis Murphy’s father died eight years ago, he became owner of Murphy Title by default. As the business becomes successful, Davis looks forward to pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming a cowboy like his grandfather, and owning a ranch. When he discovers that his mother is holding off getting married until she is sure he has settled down, he plots to fool her by introducing a pretend fiancée for one night. The description of the Southern Texas city life versus life on a large cattle ranch. The story is about a young successful business man Davis Murphy. Who has stepped up to take over the family title business "Murphy Title" when his dad dies. He has built the business to the point that he can hire a CEO to run the company so he can pursue his dream of running a ranch raising horses.

Lyonne: We have been having some conversations that have been pretty fun, and I can’t tell you a goddamn thing. There were times where a literally started giggling-which really caught me off guard. I am not a romance reader in general, so my expectations were far from the great story that I ended up reading. If you are looking for just pure enjoyment with a little twist of laughter and an interesting basis story line, the Chasing Charlie is for you. Davis became the owner of Murphy Title after his father died eight years ago. Once Davis made a success of the business, he looked forward to doing something he had always dreamed of - becoming a cowboy like his grandfather with his own ranch. Before he could get his ranch, he found out that his mother would not agree to marry her long-time love until Davis was settled with someone. He came up with a plan to get a fake fiance to introduce to his mother so she would believe he had someone in his life and would not be alone if she married the man she loved. Naturally, you are going to have some story line where you already can predict what is going to happen. But unlike most romance novels that are nothing but "cat and mouse games", Kathy Carmichael has written "Chasing Charlie" so that the characters say what they feel pretty much as soon as they feel it. Sure, there's some chasing going on, but for the most part, Charlie and Davis are very up front with each other. I love that!
