Crash features as a playable character in Crash Team Rumble. He is in the Scorer role, which makes a Crash player's main goal collecting Wumpa Fruit and depositing them in their team's bank. His playstyle is largely the same as in It's About Time, with a few key adjustments made and new moves added to suit the game. In Warped, following the destruction of Cortex Vortex by N. Brio's gem-powered laser, the remains of it hurtles into Earth's atmosphere, destroying a temple prison containing a great evil. Both Crash Bandicoot and Doctor Neo Cortex appear as guest characters with their own level, Thumpin' Wumpa Islands. This level has iconic gameplay features present in previous Crash Bandicoot games. [6] Development [ edit ] In Space Bash and Snow Bash, Aku Aku can be collected as a power-up that acts as a temporary extra hit point. In Crash Bash, Crash was peacefully sleeping under a tree, only to be abducted and taken to the Hyperspace Temple where Aku Aku and Uka Uka hold their "discussions." There, Uka Uka tells him and Cortex that the masks have decided to engage in a competition to resolve the trouble between them and prove whether good or evil is superior.
