Description

Love Letter is a game that some players will be well familiar with. The goal of Love Letter is to ensure the delivery of an important letter from one side to the next – and all game-actions will either help the player, or slow the process just a little.

These beautiful 19mm dice feature a pearlized finish, white pips, and the Cthulhu icon in place of the one pip. Tiny Cthulhu – Utilizes a d6, rules-light system called TinyD6. Set in any era, with options that include fantasy, superheroes, and a science fiction future, Tiny Cthulhu features investigators defending the world from the dark powers of cthonic entities. GURPS CthulhuPunk – Utilizes a 3d6 system called the Generic Universal RolePlaying System, or GURPS. Set in a Cthulhu Mythos-cyberpunk mashup where investigators have supercomputers, cyborg bodies, and deadly new hand weapons, but society has broken down, giving Mythos entities new breeding grounds for corruption and decay. Currently out of print. Trail of Cthulhu – Utilizes a mostly diceless points-based system (some limited use of d6) called the GUMSHOE System. Scenarios are usually set in the 1930s. The GUMSHOE System is designed for investigative roleplaying such that a failed dice roll cannot prevent the finding of a clue. Trail of Cthulhu emphasizes storytelling and interpreting clues, as opposed to roleplaying and gathering clues.Carry your dice into the dungeon in style with these large, illustrated dice bags. With space for dozens of dice of all different shapes and sizes, these bags are the perfect companions the next time you leave home to join your friends for a night of gaming. Each bag includes one custom six-sided die to get your dice collection off to a strong start . . . or to add to any already-incredible collection. Eldritch Tales – Utilizes dice of multiple sizes (primarily d20) in a fairly rules-light system modeled on old-school games. Applies an old-school sword & sorcery RPG approach to Cthulhu settings. Arkham Horror was first released in 1987. Later editions of the game are published by Fantasy Flight Games. It’s meant to be played by 1 to 6 players as a turn-based adventure into the world of cultists and Cthulhu. The game has multiple episodes, and each of them has a similar structure of two acts, those being before and after you summon whatever it is you happen to be summoning. If any character dies prior to the summoning, then the game ends and you lose; once the Elder One is on the board, as long as one of you is still alive, you still have a chance to win.

Fantasy Cthulhu – Utilizes the custom dice (d6) system of FATE. Fantasy Cthulhu places the Cthulhu mythos within a fantasy setting powered by the FATE system. Cthulhu Wars: Duels is a smaller, more portable version of Cthulhu Wars by Petersen Games. In a way, it’s like the condensed Reader’s Digest version of the larger game: entirely standalone, with some details shortened. The monsters described in the writings mentioned are described as being unimaginably horrific. The thing about things being unfathomable and unimaginable is that there won’t be a universal idea of what it looks like. What’s agreed is that they’re disgusting and not necessarily logical. Tentacles left, right and centre, claws, wings just because. Or they’re just writhing messes of flesh and mouths. They should drive men insane with just their sight, and Cthulhu Death May Die’s impressions of these beasties is quite accurate.Find sources: "Cthulhu Dice"– news · newspapers · books · scholar · JSTOR ( March 2021) ( Learn how and when to remove this template message) The models are designed with horror in mind and look incredible, and they’re of brilliant quality too! If you’re a fan of painting miniatures, you’ll appreciate the quality of these and enjoy making them look more grotesque. The investigators too look awesome. Each one looks like they’re straight out of the 1920s and fit well into the themed tiles of the maps. The artwork across the cards is awesome as always with CMON games, and are of a lovely quality. Being a poor quality painter myself, I would have appreciated having the miniatures pre-painted, however this isn’t something that will keep me up at night. What does keep me up at night is how incredibly designed the inserts of the game are. User functionality is at the heart of this design, and it may seem minor, but it makes a difference! Final Thoughts Essential rulebook(s): World of Cthulhu: Lovecraftian Roleplay in the World of Darkness (free) + New World of Darkness Rulebook (1st edition) Featuring the art of Katie Cook, this set of twelve 16mm six-sided dice adds cute puppies to your favorite game! With the Puppy D6 Dice Set you can take the dogs for a walk . . . or roll, at your next game night, with dice featuring bone and puppy engravings on each side. When you open your dice bag, people will know it was YOU who let the dogs out! Players are issued their roles at the beginning of the game. Players take part as investigators or cult members, trying to stop (or bring about) the apocalypse.
