About this deal

One of the key features of the FP715Si is its multiple switching options. This thermostat can control both the heating and hot water systems, providing convenience and flexibility. This allows users to manage their overall energy consumption effectively.

However you say "Turned the thermostat right down but heating stayed on." which does not seem to point to the programmer. Furthermore, the FP715Si is equipped with temperature compensation technology. This means that it can automatically adapt to changes in room temperature, ensuring consistent and comfortable heating throughout the day.Current day, time and on/off period is shown in the large top section along with icons showing the status of the output channels. Both timers offer 1, 2 or 3 heating periods, whilst the FP720 also offers an additional channel for either time control of a hot water cylinder or 2nd heating zone. Changing the wiring over between the two programmers is relatively straight forward, rules&rulers link above gives you the wiring for the 4033 which corresponds to the ST9400 as follows:

The FP715 Si two-channel full programmer has separate Heating and Hot Water outputs operating on completely independent time bases for maximum flexibility. The Danfoss FP715Si is a thermostat that offers precise temperature control for residential heating systems. Designed with functionality in mind, this thermostat allows users to easily adjust and maintain their desired indoor temperature. It seems to have been doing it more often recently so I figured I'd try moving it out of the airing cupboard incase it was the heat affecting it. I drilled a hole in the wall and mounted it in more or less the same place on the other side (so now in the landing).
