I'm glad I first tried this product on hair extensions, as I'd probably hate it on me, and if I get the colour I want on my hair + the rest of hair extensions, I can sandwich those true turquoise in between, and it'll look like there's multitonal effect to my hair.

As I was applying the dye I noticed it seriously looks green, so I amped up the dye, and ended up literally applying it neat straight to my hair, as I've noticed the dye fades green with the conditioner (even though it's white).The final result is kind of a dark teal. But it's one of those results that look different in different lightings. It's like a mix of greens, blues, dark blues, light greens, and it looks like a true turquoise. OK. Hmm.. The pot of turquoise hair dye is definitely blue-based, there's no green in it, however, it went green over my hair extensions. I don't know what's going on. I used sillicone free conditioner, maybe it strips the purple tint and that's the reason it goes green. I love your haircolour on your avatar, but the picture you included is dark seafoam green. I think maybe it went green because I applied it with a tinting brush which in combination with a condtioner stripped the purple tint there was to my hair, and then it went green as the extensions were yellow. BUT! I accidentally forgot to dye one piece of extensions, and as I was unclipping them with my gloves on, a bit of the dye got onto them, and bizarrely enough, the colour on them is perfect bright blue!! It's what I want 100%. So I may try to dye the remaining piece with gloves on, without the tint brush, and we'll see how it goes. I know you all probably think it shouldn't make too much difference but the final verdict should be announced tomorrow. Directions contains no peroxide, and is therefore best suited to use on light blonde or pre-lightened hair. For best results use on bleached or pre-lightened hair, although some shades may give a sheen or hint of colour to darker hair. Dye results may vary depending on hair type, hair porosity & base colour. Always follow manufacturer's instructions fully. Do not condition hair prior to use as this can smooth the hair follicle and act as a barrier on the hair. Always shake tub/bottle beforehand or use a mixing bowl to ensure colour pigments are well mixed.
