My questions is: D3 2007 just turned 315000km (~195000miles) the last 20k ran by me in the last 2 years. The plastic drain plug was quite mangled; the 10mm hex was rounded so it was difficult to get off and not possible to achieve the 8Nm to tighten it again. Perhaps someone had tried to change the oil and not succeeded. Recommended to change oil every 10 years. Next sevice on my 07 D3 it's diffs and transfer box. Engine oil of course changed at the service along with oil filter. To change the subject slightly how many owners have had to change the sump due to corrosion?
