One of the best Espresso Martinis I ever had was in one of my favorite bars in Prague, the Shrinks Office. The bartender asked if he could serve me something different from the classic Espresso Martini recipe - and what I got was outstanding. Unlike other martinis, this creamy espresso martini recipe with baileys doesn't contain gin, but instead I use a vanilla vodka to add even more creamy vanilla flavor to this drink. Also, don’t be afraid to play around with measures to find the right recipe for you., An easy way to start is to use equal parts of each ingredient and then navigate from there, adjusting the ratios to your liking to find out if you prefer a more potent character, more or less sweetness or maybe a boosted espresso profile.

And did I mention that it’s a breeze to make? You’ll only need three ingredients; four, if you count the optional coffee bean garnish. To sweeten your espresso vodka, you can use either brown sugar or simple syrup. Brown sugar will add a rich, caramel flavor to your drink, while simple syrup will provide a more neutral sweetness. If you want to add a hint of vanilla to your drink, you can also include a small amount of vanilla extract. If you're avoiding caffeine altogether, make a strong decaf coffee and use that instead. It's just as good! I used homemade caramel syrup to lean into the sweetness of the Baileys and undercut the bitterness of the coffee. This is optional and you can replace it with sugar (simple) syrup if you prefer. Espresso and vodka is a well-liked combine amongst younger adults. The caffeine within the espresso can assist to maintain you awake and the vodka can assist to loosen up you.

Bottle: Pour the infused vodka into a clean bottle and store it in a cool, dark place. The vodka will keep for several months. Or, use instant coffee if you don’t have a machine. Mix a teaspoon of coffee powder into 25ml water for a strong flavor. In the large glass container or jar, combine the cooled espresso and the white sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Vodka:This is the third main ingredient for an Espresso Martini. With its neutral taste, the clear spirit mixes well with the coffee without taking away from it. We like to use quality mid-shelf products like Absolut for this recipe.Espresso vodka is a flavored vodka that combines the rich and deep flavors of coffee with the smooth taste of vodka. This delightful combination was first introduced in the late 20th century and has since become a popular choice among vodka enthusiasts. Our recipe has the mentioned ABV of 16%. If you omit the simple syrup, you get 18.5%, and with syrup but a higher ABV coffee liqueur (30% instead of 20% ABV), the overall alcohol content is at 18%. -All these numbers include the dilution caused by the melting ice during shaking. Tips to Make the Drink Perfect Iced espresso with vodka is a refreshing summer time drink that may be loved any time of day.
