About this deal

Despite my optimism, I probably agree that the G274QPF-QD loses in comparison with the MAG series, based on price alone. But this model is really new and I want to believe that it is much better than the G273QPF, while it is still the price range of 300-400 euros, this is the range of such monitors as LG 27GP850 or M27Q-P which are very successful in the market in this category. But personally, I can't accept LG's contrast level despite all the advantages of this monitor, while the M27Q-P also has nano-ips with all its pluses and minuses. MSI MAG in comparison with these monitors gives the best results in contrast and slightly loses in the rest. If we see at least some kind of test, then I hope that the G series (G274QPF-QD) will also be a competitor to LG and Gigabity models

The pixel pitch shows the distance from the centers of two neighboring pixels. In displays, which have a native resolution (the TFT ones, for example), the pixel pitch depends on the resolution and the size of the screen.

Why is MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD 27" better than MSI Optix G273QPF 27"?

Lower input latency is a given at 360Hz, this is a very responsive display – the fastest we've experienced at 1440p. It has adaptive sync support with great performance, especially above 100Hz.

Information about the number of pixels on the horizontal and vertical side of the screen. A higher resolution allows the display of a more detailed and of higher quality image. The storage humidity shows the lower and upper humidity limit, which ensures safe storage of the display. Storing it outside these limits might damage the display. Wide Viewing Angle – Colors and details will stay sharp at more angles with a 178° wide viewing angle.Updated to Test Bench 1.2, resulting in changes to the results and scores with the Response Time and Input Lag. Added tests for Console Compatibility and macOS compatibility and made minor changes to other tests, which you can see in our Changelog. Calibrating the monitor reduced its dE average to 1.97, which is decent for an affordable gaming monitor. That score looks better if calibrated in relation to DCI-P3, showing an impressive 0.67 score. However, you will need a colorimeter to achieve results like this since no amount of copying ICC profiles or settings will guarantee identical scores. In terms of specs, it's a winner, with MSI's impressive Rapid IPS Panel with Quantum Dot Technology featuring a G-SYNC compatible 170Hz refresh rate. And with HDR 400 support, the color details sound impressive, too; 93% Adobe RGB, 95% DCI-P3, and 150% sRGB Coverage. The addition of Quantum Dot was one of the hallmarks of the original as it made the colors vibrant and lifelike. Throw in a 1ms GtG response time and wide 178-degree viewing angle, and you've got all this in a 27-inch 2560x1440 (WQHD) display. MSI also includes a few cool features you can enable or disable, including a Blue Light Reduction filter to reduce eye fatigue and a game-specific dynamic contrast mode called Night Vision that boosts shadow detail and brightness to make darker scenes more readable. It's an artificial thing, but with multiple options or strengths available, it looked pretty good when we fired up the recent Dead Space Remake for PC. Performance In the categories discussed so far, the focus has largely been on 27-inch 1440p monitors, which is where the best performance products are today. But for some gamers, 27 inches is just too small and that's where the 32-inch display format comes into play.
