Grass Box -At first glance you might think that you’ve not actually got a grass box on this mower. However you have, it’s just located inside the main body of the mower. This offers one big advantage over external grass bags – it compacts the mower. This is useful for both storage purposes and getting into tight corners of your garden. Firstly, this lawn mower is best suited for small and medium sized gardens. While it can be certainly used on larger lawns, the overall design is geared towards more manageable sizes, with the cutting widths and height settings being more appropriate for small to medium lawns. Ease of Operation– After about 2 minutes of using this mower you should be an expert – it’s that easy! To get it started all you need to do is plug it in, hold down one of the triggers (you can use either your right hand or left hand) and then push the button in the centre. There’s nothing to it really. After that you just have to push it where you want it to cut and then keep an eye on the grass box. If you have a small to medium-sized garden that is generally flat then I would highly recommend you consider buying this lawn mower. It’s affordable, really easy to use and provides a good quality finish in a variety of different conditions. Just remember that if you want to use it on a medium-sized lawn, it does only have a 12 m cord built in, so you’ll have to buy an extension cord (they are pretty cheap these days anyway). Flymo Glider 330 Review – Who Shouldn’t Buy This Mower? Metre Cable – Cables can be a bummer but over time you get used to them and develop a system to use them effectively. This particular model comes with a 12 m cable, which I feel is a little on the short side. The cutting width of this mower is perfectly adequate for a medium-sized lawn but without the use of an extension cable you would struggle to reach it all. To prevent this from happening, make sure your oil is at the correct level. This can understandably be alarming, however, it doesn't always mean it has a critical fault. Many of these causes won’t require you to search out the help of an expert straight away. You can often diagnose the issue by the colour of the smoke, and fix it before any major problems start. Assembly – I got a pleasant surprise when I unboxed this mower as it was already set up for me. It was great as there was no need to break out the toolbox, no need to try and decipher poorly written instructions and no need to use any of my free time setting it up. Unboxing took just a few minutes and I was plugged in and ready to go in no time at all. To adjust the height settings, simply remove or add the plastic spacers included with the lawn mower, which sets one of the four available heights. This is very easy to do and is completed in a matter of settings, highlighting the great all-round usability.

Conversely, the autumn and winter months see less regular mowing, but the grass can become much longer, so more length needs to be removed when you eventually get a chance to mow your lawn.

What does make it to the grass box is easy enough to dispose of, although here is where I found another build quality issue. An orange flap (lid) connected to the main body of the mower is supposed to clip to the top of the grass box. I found that the plastic it is made from is so flimsy that it is virtually impossible to connect it on both sides without it springing out of position.
