Happy Salmon (2016) is a communication game where players aim to complete funny actions with each other to get rid of their cards. You turn over a card and race to find another player with the same so you can complete an action together. It's chaotic and silly but a lot of fun as players shout, fist bump, high five, swap and salmon their way to victory.
Happy Salmon is a 90 second party game that is fast paced and easy to play. It’s super addictive and can be played at any type of get together. The basic premise of the game consists of players shouting different actions on their personal cards and finding another player shouting the same action. Once they match up with another player and perform the action together, they can discard their card and move onto another action. When all players are standing and ready, you all go at once. To discard a card you must match the top card with the card of another player and complete the relevant action on the card. You do this by shouting the name of your card until you find a match. If you become frustrated with your card, you can swap it to the bottom and try again. The winner is the first player to discard all 12 of their cards and call out finished. High five, fish bump and happy slap your way to victory! Happy Salmon is a hilarious party game that you will learn in seconds and keep playing for hours. It’s fishy, funny and oh so irresistible to play. If you only have a few players, then you might want to think twice about playing until you have a few more people. I know it can be hard to get a larger group of gamers together, but this game is definitely worth it when you have more people playing. There just isn’t as much excitement when there are only 3 people playing. Happy Salmon is a physical, fast, and LOUD game!
