Overall Innokin have managed to carry on their excellent build quality in their Coolfire range to the Coolfire Z50 kit. The device is very ergonomic creating a nice feel all round, it's a bit of a shame they haven't utilised Type-C charging capabilities when their competitors seem to be taking this route but it doesn't make the kit fall behind.

On the positive side, Innokin’s QC on the 0.3-ohm RDL coils seems to have improved, and my coils didn’t burn after 3 mL as they did when I was testing the Zenith II—although they didn’t last long enough for me to give them a thumbs up. If you are an MTL vaper who wants to switch to RDL once in a while, it’s fine. But I wouldn’t get the Zlide Top to use it predominantly as an RDL tank. Remove the mouth piece and push open the fill port, fill the tank with e-liquid, I recommend either 50/50 or 70/30 liquids, close the port and replace the mouth piece. Use a certified wall charger with a high quality microUSB cable, such as the cable provided with your Innokin CoolFire Z50. That all depends on the coil you are using. Higher resistance Z (Zenith) coils, such as the 1.6 Ω Z coil, are suitable for e-liquids with a VG:PG ratio of around 50:50. Lower resistances Z coils, such as the 0.48 Ω Z 3d Mesh coils, work well with high VG e-liquids, such as those with a VG:PG ratio of around 70:30 or 80:20. SPECS Please be sure to inspect your battery before use to ensure it is not damaged including tears or rips in the battery wrap. Discontinue use immediately if battery is damaged.The mod is pretty weighty for its size.Made from zinc alloy, it weighs 102g and with the Zlide tank (which is also quite weighty for its size) it weighs 163g when filled.I’m not a fan of weight for weight’s sake, but it really suited the Z50. At 18W I found the flavours became merged together and created a much warmer vape, especially when compared to the other coil Innokin provide straight out the box. Surprisingly, it was right in the middle around 17W that I found the sweet spot on the 0.8ohm coil. At this setting with the airflow at half, I got a really pleasant MTL vape with the full flavour profile of The Salt Stuff flavours merging really well together. Final Thoughts To change between wattage and volts, hold down the fire button with up adjustment button for wattage, for volts repeat using the down adjustment and fire button. Make sure the atomizer has been cooled down while you refill the tank because the liquid flows faster when the atomizer is hot.

I will be using the Innokin Coolfire Z50 Kit with the Zlide tank, and for this review I have filled the tank with Large Salts “Crispy Coffee” 50/50 liquid, starting with the 1.02Ω coil and moving on to the 0.8Ω. The device will fire in variable wattage as well as variable volts, the internal battery is a large 2100mAh perfect for all day use.I have enough tanks and RDA’s that will work fine with the Innokin Coolfire Z50 Kit , not that I want you to get the wrong idea about the Zlide it’s a fair tank it just doesn’t float my boat flavour wise. My love for Innokin has always remained throughout my own personal vaping journey although this isn't particularity the kit for me as I've expanded further into the love of Direct To Lung (DTL) devices and sub-ohm kits in general. Review Scores A powerful kit, great for everyday use, featuring the Coolfire Z50 box mod and the highly regarded Zlide tank. A 2100 mAh internal battery provides easily a day of vaping, and the maximum 50W capacity will easily satisfy. The Coolfire Z50 is capable of both mouth to lung and a restricted direct to lung vape. The Zlide tank has the simplest filling mechanism, simply push to open, and refill. The coils are fine. I wouldn’t put them next to my favorite 0.8-ohm coils, but they are a good option for high-strength nicotine and seem to last long. I’ve been using one for a bit over a week now (I’m guessing around 20 mL or so) and it just started feeling a bit gunked. I probably won’t be getting more of those, but it may be a fit for your style of vaping.
