Blind and you won’t realize the longevity until you extra spray it on a fabric and leave it in a room for a day and find it to linger around your nose in a good proximity. Ramz Silver - dislike the pear opening but love the woody dry down and it’s absolutely beast mode but won’t get again bc the opening is not to my taste opening is too feminine imo This fragrance opens up with a pretty synthetic scent for the first few seconds and then transitions into a near perfect pineapple. The dry down starts to become a little more smoky but stays true to that opening pineapple. I feel like this is probably best used layered with something that's a lot woodier, like maybe CDNIM. Whilst I now understand what everyone is on about with the sweet pineapple note, I can confirm it's not for me.
In summary, if you put Qaed Al Fursan in a Parfums Vintage bottle and sprayed it on me (or yourself), you could fool me, maybe momentarilly, maybe all day. first 3-4 minutes of spraying smell like a bad burned sugar/wallpaint/sanitizer/rubbing alcohol note because of very synthetic smelling saffron and pineapple I think the closest comparison I could make is another kind of cheap fragrance - Zara Vibrant Leather Bogoss. TASTE: Grilled pineapple. Pineapple upside down cake. Pineapple margarita. Ambrosia salad. Pineapple kesari. Paris Corner Pendora Dream Catcher (I only smelled D&G The One EDP once but fell in love with it immediately)The opening lasts just long enough for me, and when the woody notes begin to settle in, I’m just overjoyed by the luxury that this fragrance exudes. It’s a really nice balance between playful and serious. I enjoy the term “eastern fragrances for western noses” because that perfectly sums this one up for me. I wouldn’t recommend it for any one season over another, but so far this summer, I’m getting great-ish performance if I don’t work up too much of a sweat. On days where I have spent my time in A/C controlled environments, I would get whiffs of myself in the air, and the pineapple note sings a little harmony under the creamy, just almost smoky and mildly spicy woods. Within an hour or so it morphs into a mixture where the generic designer base takes over and part of the synthetic pineapple smell stays lingering around, and then stays that way for a long time. Do you sometimes smell on the sprayer of a bottle of and think "ugh, this could be anything"? That's how the dry down smells. The strongest component in it is the synthetic that people associate with saffron, a relatively dry and powdery lightly spicy melon scent. I suppose many people are noseblind to it and that's why they think the pineapple lasts a long time. If you overspray this, the pineapple should remain strong for longer. Unfortunately, that means that the poor people around you who can smell that awful base accord and synthetic oud will suffer a lot. SMELL: Pineapple Jasmine soap. Car Wash air freshener. "High-end" dog cologne from groomers. Pineapple Fresca. This doesn't really smell like pineapple. It starts with a mixture of a sweet artificial pineapple imitation (not the real thing at all!), some synthetic oud, and a standard ingredient in designer perfumes that I've smelled a thousand times and always reminds me of melon/cucumber. I suppose the latter is what people might identify as saffron.

Compared to ARMAF Italiano Nero (another pineapple scent) the Armaf is more mature, round, and woody. The Armaf Nero bottle is garbage though.
