Combine the peeled tomatoes with ½ garlic clover, 2 Tbsp. olive oil, a sprig of oregano, and a pinch of salt, and blend.

If you are using gas burners, it won’t be necessary to preheat the stone, though if you preheat it, the better. But if the flame generated by the gas burner is small and the stone is large, we definitely recommend preheating the stone beforehand.

This type of stones just need to be plugged into the electric outlet and you need to wait a few minutes. though from my own experience and from what others have told me, electrical resistances do not get to get very high temperatures. What type of stone can I use to use to grill meat?: Marble, granite, soapstone, slate, lava stone,…? Each set comes with full instructions on how to heat and clean. Generally as a rule the sets containing the smaller stones are intended as individual platters and the sets with the larger stones can be individual or shared. However, if you buy a cooking stone with burners (alcohol or gas), we can guarantee you that the stone will always be hot to cook, because the burners will help you maintain the temperature.

A lot of our successful venues will only serve Fillet Steak on the Stone, not that the other steaks aren’t also great, but if customers want the Sizzling Experience and the only Steak available on here is the Fillet, then that’s what they will have and guess what, your margins improve. The lava comes out red-hot from the furnace. It's generally too hot to cook this close to the source of the flow. Don’t try to rush it by using too much heat at once. If you do all these things, you should have no problem heating your grilling stone on the stove. Heating On Grill If your SteakStones Lava Stones are fully heated following the instructions above they will remain sizzling hot for between 20-30mins, so you’ll likely run out of meat before you run out of heat! The stones will still be cooking for up to 50mins from serving and too hot to handle without protective oven gloves for over an hour.Preheat your grill to high heat. You’ll want the grill to be as hot as possible so the stone can absorb as much heat as possible. Place the stone on the grill and close the lid. Let the stone heat up for 20-30 minutes, so it has time to absorb all of the heat from the grill. Once the stone is heated, it’s ready to use! Just cook your food as usual, and keep an eye on it, so it doesn’t burn. Heating On Oven If you buy a stone that comes with its base or handles, but without burners, keep in mind that once preheated and later put on the table, you will have a limited time to cook. A lava stone without burners has about 20 minutes of optimal temperature to be able to cook, other types of stones (marble, granite, soapstone, slate, …) can have less time. In restaurants, when a stone cools off and the diners have not finished eating, the waiters usually change it and put another hot stone they have prepared, so the customers can continue eating. A wide range of produce can be cooked on the stone so you can create exciting, fresh, and delicious meals When buying a cooking stone we must first consider a number of factors that can help us make a correct decision:
