Furthering the flexibility of this case, the PSU chamber is modular with space up a power supply up to 210mm long. The drive cage can be positioned either to the left or right, depending on whether you want to install a reservoir or allow for more cable space. This drive cage can host up to three drives, either 2.5” SSDs or 3.5” HDDs. With support for nine SSDs in total, there are six more mounts located across the Lian Li Lancool II Mesh C RGB. Compared to the former integrated design, the modular PSU shroud covers allow users to remove them for an unobstructed airflow between the top and bottom chamber. The Lian Li Lancool II Mesh C RGB Case has a premium design, carefully curated to facilitate advanced cooling. Many panels of this chassis feature a high-density mesh in a honeycomb pattern, to enhance airflow throughout the case. The natural airflow is boosted by the pre-mounted aRGB fans. Modular Shroud As people who frequently build and upgrade PCs, we will be the first to tell you that hinged tempered glass panels are a godsend. They are easy to open/close, and they make the addition or removal of components a simple process. Hinged panels are superior to the thumbscrew mounted panels of yesteryear, which require the removal of four screws and the full removal of the side panel to add or replace any system component. With the LANCOOL MESH, Lian Li has made component replacement simple,Â

Internally, the Lancool II Mesh surprised us with a highly thoughtful layout, making it easy to accommodate all sorts of hardware combinations. The main motherboard compartment doesn’t bring any surprises, and there is room to install two 2.5-inch drives behind the motherboard tray along with three 3.5-inch drives in the HDD caddy under the PSU shroud. An accessory is available to make the HDD caddies hot-swappable, sparing you from having to open the other side to plug in cables. We wouldn’t buy it unless you’re swapping drives on an almost-daily basis though as it’s super easy to open the other side to plug or unplug drives.LANCOOL II MESH RGB features a mesh front panel and mesh bottom left shroud panel, honeycomb vent design and built-in RGB fans, ensuring bountiful airflow delivered to your high-performance components while adorning the system with an RGB touch. Smooth Gaming and Efficient, Advanced Multi-Processing Performance with the world’s lowest power 12-core, 24-thread desktop processor with true machine intelligenceok thanks for that @30Valve it makes a lot of sense now more understandable. Ye I didn't know much about the negative and positive pressure. I'll have to change it. Incidentally, I can't remember the last time I actually needed to use an optical drive. Even if I did, I would be better off with an external drive on my desk, which is easy to get to, than an integrated drive hidden away under my desk. only thing I'd say is the case gets dirty faster than most so if you clean your pc out every few months your good but if not this isn't the case for you. Airflow optimized fans are better where airflow is unobstructed, such as exhaust fans or on front panels with big open mesh, like on the Lancool II mesh. Between Linus' YouTube channels and JayzTwoCents, you can find a lot of good, accurate information about the different types of fans and also positive-pressure vs negative-pressure case configurations. The Lian Li Lancool II Mesh C RGB Snow Edition Mid-Tower Case has a fully equipped I/O panel. An improvement on the original Lancool II Mesh, this model features the USB 3.1 Type-C port
