Description

As for the story itself, it'll be following the beloved character of Steph. Steph made her Life is Strange debut in Life is Strange: Before the Storm in 2017, before then returning as a more prominent character in 2021's True Colors. Phillips, Tom (28 July 2022). "Life is Strange: True Colors getting novel starring Steph". Eurogamer . Retrieved 19 February 2023. This work captures the spirit and characters of the original game incredibly well, and I thought that it translated smoothly into a very pleasing 2D art style.

The game was released in three episodes across 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows, with iOS, Android and MacOS, Linux versions released later on. Episode 1: Awake was released on 31 August, Episode 2: Brave New World on 19 October, [53] and Episode 3: Hell Is Empty on 20 December. [54] The Deluxe Edition included the DLC bonus episode Farewell, released on 6 March 2018. [55] In it, Max struggles to tell Chloe of her imminent move to Seattle. To distract herself, she lets Chloe take them on a pirate treasure hunt in search of "treasure" buried by Chloe's father, William. Their day is ultimately cut short by the news of William's death. Boccher, Michael (7 October 2015). "Life is Strange Episode 5 release date revealed in new trailer". GameZone. Archived from the original on 21 November 2018 . Retrieved 15 September 2020.

What To Read Next

Next Life is Strange's new story and characters to be detailed "in the coming months" ". Gematsu. 5 March 2018. Archived from the original on 7 November 2020 . Retrieved 12 September 2020. A new Life is Strange game is in the works". Destructoid. 18 May 2017. Archived from the original on 20 August 2020 . Retrieved 12 September 2020. Lyles, Taylor (24 September 2021). "Life Is Strange Remastered Collection Arrives This February". IGN. Archived from the original on 31 January 2022 . Retrieved 13 November 2021. I enjoyed Dust as much as I think I could. The art is pretty, the use of butterflies is clever and I quite enjoyed the plot. Given what I know about the decisions in the game I am glad the chosen quote exists.

Get your ears wrapped around VG247's Best Games Ever Podcast. It's brilliant, and that's not just a view we hold as the people that make it. 30 mins, funny, and you can even play along at home by shouting out your suggestions. We won't hear you, but you'll have fun! Get all the podcast episodes here.Full disclosure, I've not played the game. I want to but I haven't. I know of it and know some details because I spend an inordinate amount of time watching people play video games. In all fairness I have no idea why I read this. I know just enough that I wasn't completely lost but not enough that I understood all the significance of what was going on. Which is fair and a mark of decent writing. Any time a graphic novel is this pretty and can include string theory and chaos theory work it deserves all the acclaim it gets. Ok let's be honest, you're only reading this if you're already a Life is Strange fan. Which both means you're awesome, and that I or the author don't need to sell you a world. It's a different set of expectations going in.
