About this deal

Finally, I really like the controller, it is very intuitive and the power LED isn’t too bright either. The volume control glided effortlessly – perhaps a little too effortlessly but it didn’t take long to adjust. The speakers are a bit of a dust/fingerprint magnet but the surfaces are also easy to wipe clean with a lint-free cloth.

When we talk about sound quality, it is essential to mention that they all sound great. Of course, you cannot compare computer speakers to high-end sound systems, but they will do a much better job than just regular monitor speakers. However, when it comes to bass, there is a significant difference. Each channel on the Logitech Z533 has 15 W RMS, compared to the power per channel on Z333 and 337, which is only 8W. If you want a decent sound, but don’t want to buy a full audio system, these computer speakers will get the job done just as well. The Z533 is really well thought out and the most convenient desktop speaker set I’ve used. Sure, there are a bunch of cables but they are flexible and easy enough to neatly route. The cable lengths are good too and I didn’t have any issues with them being too short. The 2 desktop speakers are each rated at 15 watts (into 8 ohms, @1 KHz, @10% THD) with 66mm drivers while the subwoofer has a 133mm front firing dome driver and is rated at 30 watts (into 4 ohms, @100Hz, @10% THD). The result is that the Z533 can throw out impressive sound in terms of both volume and quality – especially for its compact size.

As we mentioned, they all sound almost identical in terms of sound quality, with a slight edge from the Z533. Z533 PC speaker has two 2.5-inch, full-range speaker drivers with phase plug, and 60-watts of RMS power. The only significant difference when we compare Logitech Z337 vs Z333 is the built-in Bluetooth feature. If we compare the differences between Logitech Z337 vs Z533, the only thing we can notice is the futuristic design and slightly higher power and bluetooth connectivity. Well, the biggest difference when we compare Logitech Z333 vs Z337 is the Bluetooth support. They are basically identical speakers with different designs and added Bluetooth on the Z337. Dialogue is another area where the Z533 system added to immersion and I found myself happy to use the desktop speakers on the test bench for gaming over my usual headset. Later in the evenings when other people in the house were trying to sleep it was a simple matter of connecting a headset to the base of the control unit. The volume control also works here so it isn’t just a straight pass through, the Z533 also amplifies the audio to the headset.

Verdict

With these speakers, you get all the basics, such as the external control unit, which can be very useful, two speakers, and a subwoofer. The power supply is Electric (not USB), so you cannot power them from your computer. More: Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 6 vs JBL Boombox: Which Bluetooth Speaker Is the Best Choice? Verdict The visual appearance of your computer speakers is also important. Unfortunately, the Z337 and the Z333 don’t offer something special in terms of design. I really enjoyed the bass when listening to music but found that it really shone during gaming. As an example, the Thermal Imploder grenades (basically a mini nuke) from Star Wars Battlefront sound amazing with these speakers. When using them as desktop speakers, I also didn’t need to have the volume above about 30% but I did crank it up to almost 50% for music when doing a gaming rig build in the office for another review. In terms of controls, they are a wired controller coming from the subwoofer where you can turn them off/on and control the bass level and volume. Pros

If you want small speakers who don’t take too much space on your desk but still sound great, Logitech has many choices. There is little to separate all three speakers. They all have a great sound quality, which is good enough to fill your entire room with deep and vibrant sound. Additionally, they have high built-quality so that they will last for a lifetime. Similarly, the cable for the remote is completely tethered, although thankfully the power cable is the standard figure-of-eight plug. All told, it’s a feature set that feels about right for the price of these speakers, and the same could be said of sound quality. Unleash impressive room-filling sound with speakers designed to immerse you into your music, games or movies. The Z533 is a 2.1 sound system designed for use with a PC or console but it also allows a little extra flexibility for connecting your phone or iPod via the control unit as a third input. The practicality of this is so that you can have your tunes playing without your PC or console running and getting some music going literally takes seconds. In addition to an auxiliary 3.5mm input, the controller also has a 3.5mm headphone output and allows you to adjust both the bass and the volume. Controls at your fingertips for optimal PC speaker experience. Position the wired control pod within easy reach to control power, volume and bass. In terms of features, all three look very similar. They all have 3.5 millimeter RCA outports, and they are compatible with Mac or Windows operating systems. They are also compatible with Playstation or Xbox. To find the winner in this comparison test, we have to dig a bit deeper into their specifications and find out which computer speakers perform best. Design

Even though they are just computer speakers, they provide great flexibility for connecting your smartphone via the control unit as a third input. Listen to music from your Bluetooth® wireless devices-smartphone, tablet-by adding Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter, sold separately.Additionally, all three models come with external controls, which are very easy to operate. Apart from that, they also have a headphone output, which actually is not that useful since you can plug your headphones directly into your device. Both speakers come in the same dimensions of 7.56 x 4.25 x 3.54 inches, and the subwoofer is a bit bigger 9.06 x 9.13 x 6.18 inches. This means that they know their way around such products. The best thing is that most of their products come with good quality at affordable prices. Logitech is continuously pushing the limits of technology and innovation, which is why it is one of the most preferred choices when it comes to tech accessories. Logitech Z333 We reviewed the Z533 as a desktop speaker set with a focus on PC Gaming use but this could be used with anything that has a 3.5mm or RCA output. Aesthetics Gaming on the Z533 was amazing. I was really impressed with how clear but powerful First Person Shooters and Role Playing Games sounded. Whilst Real Time strategy and action games sounded great, the immersion felt more impressive to me with the First Person view titles. In-game music also benefits from the Z533, especially with games like Star Wars Battlefront where the music score is a bigger part of the overall experience. Practicality & Pricing
