About this deal

The second Care Bear feature film tells the story of how the Care Bear Family, including Love-a-Lot first arrived in Care-a-Lot after they escaped capture by the evil Dark Heart. When the villain later propositions a girl named Christy into helping him finally capture his fuzzy prey once and for all, Love-a-Lot is among the few remaining members not to be imprisoned, and must formulate a plan along with two children named John and Dawn to rescue her friends. After arriving at Dark Heart's secret lair, they and Christy are able to free the others and convince Dark Heart to care himself, transforming him into a real boy. Grams Bear (voiced by Jennifer Darling) is a turquoise elder Care Bear. She is portrayed differently and looks different in this series than in previous incarnations of the character, being blue instead of lavender-gray, speaks in a stereotypical southern U.S. regional dialect and accent, wears small glasses on the end of her nose and a pink shawl with yellow hearts around her shoulders, walks with a cane, and having her belly badge power (while retaining the rose tied with a yellow ribbon design) being able to restore other belly badges that are temporarily out of commission. In 2002 American Greetings relaunched the Care Bear brand as part of the Bears’ 20th anniversary celebration with a series of dolls, toys and movies. The artwork and design of the bears were changed for relaunch. Also, Funshine Bear’s gender was changed from female to male, Champ Bear’s colours were changed from tan to true blue, with his tummy symbol changed to a winner’s cup with a star, and Share Bear’s tummy symbol was changed from a milkshake with two straws to two lollipops crossed. The change to Share Bear’s symbol stems from Play Along Toys’ suggestion of the change on the grounds that sharing a milkshake may spread germs. Apart from that, many other minor changes were made to the designs, mostly involving lightening the colors of the bears and minor redesigns to the tummy symbols.

Anniversary: There's a lot of romance in Love-a-lot Bear's job - she brings lovers together. She's usually spunky and lighthearted, the embodiment of the spirit of first love. She's a true believer in the power of love but is not afraid to help it along. The two hearts intertwined on Love-a-lot's tummy reinforces this Bear's role as the promoter of romance. In this series, she was part of a Belly Badge Bouts team in competition with Cheer, Funshine, Grumpy, Harmony and Share, and was once a member of the team, "Bear-a-Lots". In Gobblebugs, Cheer and Oopsy would later work together to save their home from a swarm of destructive insects called Gobblebugs when they descend upon Care-a-Lot.

Keep Your Care Bears Clean

A very happy and perky bear who lives up to her name, Cheer Bear has made it her goal to help everyone to be joyous as she is (sometimes whether they like it or not). Known to break into cheers and chants at the drop of a hat, this exuberant, bouncy, and just plain happy ball of pink fluff is only sad when she can't lift someone's spirits, but that just means she has to try even harder. Her personality is fitting to her horoscope, which is Leo. In 2007, American Greetings relaunched Care Bears again, first with a series of dolls, then a new movie (Care Bears: Oopsy Does It!) and immediately after with a new TV series (Care Bears: Adventures in Care-a-Lot). The animation and artwork is completely different than the originals giving the Care Bears have smaller body structures and redesigned tummy symbols (now called belly badges). Also, instead of Nelvana, the film and the animated series are once again produced by DiC. Cheer Bear has carnation pink fur and her Belly badge depicts the easily identifiable arch of a rainbow. Cheer Bear appears in the final Adventures in Care-a-Lot spin-off film as one of the organizers of the annual Giving Festival celebration. After a failed attempt to tow Care-a-Lot away leaves his own island floating in deep space, Cheer is among the bears who takes him home. However, his gratitude proves to be short-lived as he tries to capture them while inside his fortress, but they are able to outwit him in the end. Later, She must help rescue Princess Starglo from a cloud spirit named Windle who hates the festival and wants to stop her attending, and is able to change his attitude with a Care Bear Stare. In The Night the Stars Went Out, she is seen among the many Care Bears who team up against a new villain, Strato Nefarious when he begins to steal the stars from the sky so he can use their light to read his sheet music, and helps take him down with a Care Bear Stare.

When Grumpy ends up making a successful baked goods business, Share gets jealous and ends up causing her Care Kid friend Hayden to do lots of work for her. Cheer Bear is one of everyone’s favorite female protagonist bear, who takes care of other bears when they are feeling down. Due to her innate nature, she has even wound up as the leader of the bears in several instances. This carnation pink Care Bear is the embodiment of the golden rule, very fun loving, and makes sure to share cheer wherever it is needed, and even when it is not. She is only not whimsical and playful when she feels she cannot make someone who is down happy. Her Belly Badge carries the tummy symbol of a rainbow, and with it she has the power to manifest rainbows into real life and any form.

Hannah (voiced by Sami Staitman) is a girl who knows a lot about camping, but is scared of actually doing it herself, for a number of reasons. She eventually earns an honorary Care Camping stamp.

In Care Bears: Adventures in Care-a-Lot, she has a short ponytail tied in a clip (with hearts) and a purple scarf. Cheer Bear is one of the main five characters of the 2007-2008 Adventures in Care-a-Lot series. Characterizing as her same cheery self, she sometimes takes on a nurturing, motherly role on top of it. She is the bassist of Care Bear Honeys. In some media the hearts in her symbol have no outlines. In other media, both hearts have yellow outlines.

Love-a-lot Bear – The Magenta / Pink Care Bear

Care Bears: A Belly Badge for Wonderheart the Movie was released on home video formats on August 6, 2013. Though marketed as a direct-to-video feature-length film, the release consists of no newly produced material, but is rather a compilation of three previous installments of the television series featuring the character Wonderheart Bear, edited to run in sequence at feature length. [3] Cast [ edit ] Harmony loses her voice before a concert, and a shy girl named Phobe must convince King Beastly not to disrupt the show.

Bedtime Bear: the sleeping crescent moon and hanging star give Bedtime the ability to ward off nightmares and give sweet dreams to everyone.

As part of the franchise’s 25th anniversary celebrations, the Bears have been redesigned by the AG Properties illustration team, and the logo of the franchise was redesigned to provide a more whimsical feeling. The new line consists of fifteen of the thirty-nine bears (as seen in the recent film). Five of the bears were chosen to be the focus of the franchise: Oopsy (a brand new bear who debuted in Oopsy Does It!), Cheer, Funshine, Grumpy, and Share Bear. The other bears include Amigo Bear, Wish Bear, True Heart Bear, Bedtime Bear, Surprise Bear, Love-a-Lot Bear, Harmony Bear, Superstar Bear, Heartsong Bear and Hopeful Heart Bear, although the remaining 24 of the bears are also stated to have a release in the near future according to Play Along Toys. In Stand Up and Cheer, Cheer hosts a talent show after noticing how everyone in Care-a-Lot seems to have some kind of talent, and even includes Grizzle, who plans to use the contest as part of yet another scheme to take over Care-a-Lot. Love-a-Lot Bear appears in the first Care Bears theatrical film as one of the bears who welcomes the children Kim and Jason to Care-a-Lot during the "Nobody Cares Like a Bear" song sequence. She is later part of the crew of the ship The Cloud Clipper as they travel through the Forest of Feelings looking for their lost friends. After re-uniting with their wayward comrades, and joining forces with the Care Bear Cousins, the group travels to Earth to combat the evil Spirit and seal her away for good. Cheer Bear is a very happy Care Bear who helps others see the joyful side of life. She will sometimes even do a cheer to help brighten someone's day. Wherever she goes, Cheer Bear wears a belly badge of hope and happiness - a rainbow! Cheer Bear is a character in the first computer-animated Care Bears film, Journey to Joke-a-lot. After Funshine Bear runs away to the titular town so his practical jokes can be better appreciated, he is crowned king as part of a secret plot by a rat named Sir Funnybone to steal the royal treasure, and Cheer is among the bears who come to Joke-a-lot to stop him.
