A new Treasurer is still required for the association as the Wallasey Association will not be able to operate without one. (For the avoidance of doubt, I will not act as a Treasurer in addition to my duties as Secretary though I will help any new incoming Treasurer as much as I can).
The Centenary Cup Final Played on Friday 15th September, at Manor Road was won by Heswall RBL B 189 to Kendal 167. Our thoughts are with his Family, Friends, and Bowling Colleagues. Prize money will be increased and paid down the league the same as the premier division has been for some years, pairs league remains the same. The final game of the season saw Victoria A beat Wharton Cons in the final of the Vic Cooke Trophy by 154-132. Thank you to Haslington BC for staging the event and the support of its members with providing refreshments. Big thank you to the supporters who turned up on a damp and breezy night to support the players. Gordon Chalton , long term member of Bromborough Recs bowling club passed away on the 3rd of November. His funeral will be at Blacon Crematorium on Friday the 15 th of December at 12pm. Refreshments will be provide afterwards at Thorton hall.

In front of a good crowd of supporters the game was played in an excellent atmosphere and was won by Gladstone by 17 shots. There isn't actually a rule to prevent this, it was just passed down as given, probably because it was rarely needed years ago as most players played for just the one club.Sad news from Port Sunlight Village & Works, Derek Snedker has sadly passed away.
