Description

The Norvagen have a line of kings and princes ruling their people over the years. A warrior-tribe of marauders originating from the north, they were considered fearsome and ruthless, and were experts in both land-based and sea-based warfare. The Norvagen forces take to the seas in the massive MAN-O-WAR. Unfurl the sails and join the search for the magical Crystals of Power! Fortunately quite a few of the set instruction books were included with the deal or else I would be having a very hard time trying to make sense of everything. Targon, the Mercury Armour Dragon: Dev's dragon companion, and one of the last remaining dragons in the human world by the end of the Draigar-Norvagen war. Killed by the Shadow Dragons, but resurrected as a Light Dragon. Dragons: War Chest (Valtheran), War Chest (Warfang), Valtheran ballista War Chest, Warfang catapult War Chest

The only thing which is a bit annoying is that the two headed dragon from the Iron Raiders Sea Assault set seems to be missing. It's one of the older hard plastic dragons, but I'd still like to have one of them in the collection. More manuals of Mega Bloks Frequently Asked Questions about Mega Bloks set 9885 Dragons Krystal Wars Marauders Cliff Ostgard: King of the Norvagen during the Krystal Wars, who personally commanded his own Man 'O War. I'm really going to have to do something about figuring out rules for battles at sea (rivers, lakes & etc) as I'm starting to amass a fair collection of boats and ships these days. Man-O-War, also called Man O' War or Norvagen Destroyer, is the Norvagen's battle ship. It is the second biggest set in the Krystal Wars series. It comes with 1 Dragon named Midgaard. This set comes with 12 Warriors in total, 9 Norvagen and 3 Draigar. It also contains 12 shields, 16 weapons, 2 cannons, a jail and a Krystal.

At one point, the wizard Xenoz acted as a diplomat between the two kingdoms, but he secretly fed lies to both sides claiming that the other faction was responsible for the dragons' disappearance from the human world. The Norvagen, now commanded by King Olsef, marched to what was intended to be a climactic battle against the Draigar. However, Xenoz himself intervened and sent his Ice Vorgan allies against them, eventually revealing his traitorous nature. This spurred the Norvagen to join forces with the Draigar to fight against Xenoz. Olsef's son Prince Dev joined Princess Kyra of the Draigar and led the Fyren army, comprised of warriors from both kingdoms. With aid from the Dragon King Thoron, Xenoz and his forces were defeated, and the Norvagen officially made peace with the Draigar and ended their war.

In addition to these I have parts for some sort of large ice mountain set that I don't have the book for and two very large ship sets that are also without books. One is in wood grain brown and I think is from the Man-O-War set, - the other is mostly white and I haven't a clue which set it's from. Released in 2003, the Man O' War is the Norvagen themed set of the Krystal Wars series, featuring a massive warship ready to invade the Draigar lands. It contains 250 pieces, 9 Norvagen warriors and 3 Draigar warriors, alongside the dragon Midgaard and one of the Krystals of Power. It is one of the few sets to not contain warriors from all three factions Rendwrought: A Norvagen warrior with defensive strategies who took part in the battle at the Ramparts of Ryousan. Having joined forces the Valtheran and Warfang creating the Draigar, led by the Dragon Slayer Padraig, to fight off the new threat of the coastal Norvagen and the creatures from the southern swamps, the Vorgan.

More about this manual

Vile, the Wind Sprinter Dragon: A member of a species of rowdy dragons that use wind currents for impressive aerial maneuvers. The series was a drastic departure from the style of the old Dragons line. No longer are there knights and Krystals but instead they were replaced with marines and power cores. Now at peace with the Draigar, the Norvagen's elite warriors joined with the Draigar's elite in forming the Ferroch, a special strike force led by Dev and Kyra. When Odaku forces led by Witch-Queen Scylla began to invade their lands, King Olsef led the Norvagen into battle alongside the Draigar, once again utilizing their powerful navy. After Gorhagar, aided by Dev and Kyra, defeated Scylla and took over leadership of the Odaku people, the three major factions ended the battle peacefully.

A construction toy line from Mega Bloks, Dragons started as a series simply called Dragons. It was followed by the series of Krystal Wars, Iron Raiders, Elementals, Fire And Ice, Spell Casters, Metal Ages, Plasma Dragons, and finally Battlestorm Epic before the series changed entirely into Dragons Universe. Dragons are also what both series are based off of. Each War Chest contains 3 warriors, a small building, 2-3 shields and all weapons of that race. The figures are random characters of the respective faction that can be obtained through the core sets. The Dragons live in a special realm known as Dragon World. The Dragons also live in the Human World. They have the ability to use Krystals Of Power with the most powerful being the Aurathon Krystal used by the Dragon King, Thoron. There are many different types of Dragons, such as two-headed Dragons, Sea Dragons, Swamp Dragons, and Plasma Dragons. Once there, the Norvagen established a coastal colony (called the Coastal Norvagen Enclave) and sought out the Krystals of Power. This brought them into conflict with the native Draigar kingdom and, later on, the mutant Vorgan hordes, beginning a long war between the three factions. Led by King Ostgard, the Norvagen used their shipbuilding and seafaring experiences to turn their fleet of ships into a powerful navy of Men o' War craft, giving them a naval advantage. With at least three big castle sets in the mix along with what I already had I'm planning on building up a massive fortress city. It's actually about the best way to store the sets as they take up a lot of room in dismantled condition. Dragons Universe is the series that came after the original Dragons series was discontinued by Mega Bloks. It had one sub-line titled the Rise Of The Predavors. Dragons Universe is where Dragons have high tech weapons (called Predavors) and fight humans (called the Alliance) who also have high tech weapons. The Norvagen appear to be inspired or influenced by traditional Viking or Nordic culture. This can be seen by the fact that their name, Norvagen, is a combination and corruption of the words "North"/"Nord" and "Dragon"; or, more distantly, the words "North"/"Nord"/"Norse" and "Viking." The Norvagen's homeland is across the endless sea. Skilled in both land and sea-launched assaults, these ruthless marauders are known for their distinctive green armour and razor-sharp swords. Ostgard, Gotelag and Kalborg are among the most feared of this warrior tribe." [1]During the Krystal Wars, the Norvagen wore distinctive teal-colored armour with animalistic helmets and wielded razor-sharp swords, daggers, and cleavers. They possessed large wooden shields with the Norvagen symbol on a blue, red, or lime-green field. Over the course of the long Draigar-Norvagen war, the Norvagen wore green-colored armour, and began to wear dark blue armour after the war ended. As they interacted with other cultures, the Norvagen utilized weapons besides their own, notably Draigar axes and Odaku blades. As a kingdom of seafarers, the Norvagen were most well-known for their expertise in shipbuilding and naval warfare, specializations that gave them an advantage at sea. During the Krystal Wars, they boasted a powerful navy consisting of massive Men 'O War that served both as warships and as sea-based transport craft. This knowledge of shipbuilding and naval warfare would be incorporated by the Fyren, itself formed partially by Norvagen warriors, which enabled them to have their own naval force of Sea Phoenix warships. Even after the Draigar-Norvagen war, the Norvagen continued to possess a strong navy of Men O' War, alongside the more contemporary Norvagen Destroyer model. Dev: Warrior-prince of the Norvagen and Olsef's son, gifted the power over wind by Thoron. Led the Fyren and Ferroch warriors alongside the Draigar princess Kyra.
