The book was littered with little moments like that. They were jarring and annoying from a journalist whose entire book was about bias. I had trouble putting the book down - at least, it was very hard to do whenever I was forced to by other obligations. I received it in the mail on a Thursday and finished it that following Sunday night (this is FAST for me, given everything else I have on my plate). If I have to criticize anything, I would mention the reported speech, which at times would have been successfully substituted by the real words. Furthermore, I found using names of Michael's songs for titles of the chapters essentially inappropriate. No fan really laughed when reading.
