Micro Macro Crime City is, dare I say it, one of the best things I own. It takes pride of place on my board game shelf, I have been playing it non-stop since I received it as a Christmas present in 2021, and it’s the first game I whip out when friends come round for board game night. Sadly, several months later I have now completed the game. There’re so many good things to say about MicroMacro: Crime City, but any such list would be remiss without mentioning the artwork first; it’s absolutely delightful. This city might be dangerous and crime-ridden, but it’s a joy to look at. Every square inch has some minute detail for you to notice. Why are there two people riding horses down a city street? Why is there a couple making out in the graveyard? Why is there a random hole dug on the bank of the river? And why are there so many dead bodies?!

Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands) may take longer to reach you. As far as I’m concerned MicroMacro: Crime City was a cinch to win the Spiel des Jahres. It’s innovative, mostly family friendly (but I’ll get to that in a minute), easily translatable since the map is just illustrations, and just plain fun! Azonban csavar egy hatalmasat a zsáneren, és a kutatható rajzon nem csupán térben, de időben is vannak eltérések az egyes események és helyszínek között. Ugyanis ebben a többszörösen díjnyertes társasjátékba nem csupán meg kell találni valamit, vagy valakit, de bűntényeket kell feltárni, nyomozni és szálakat felgöngyölíteni amik térben és időben el vannak szórva Crime City-ben. Ettől olyan izgalmas és forradalmi a játék, ahogyan megoldja a kronológiai eltolódást egy kétdimenziós bohókás rajzolaton, avagy doodle-ön.

Osszessegeben szeretem, egesz mas tipusu jatek mint barmi amivel jatszottam. Igaz,hogy az ujrajatszhatosaga... hat limitalt. Viszont hasznaltan is batran meg lehet venni, vagy ha kijatszottuk konnyu eladni.

You need to peek in windows and make guesses as to where someone might have gone or from where they might have started. You can play the cases on "advanced" mode by looking only at the initial situation — a man was found shot in the parking lot of the hardware store — then trying to unravel the case without looking at the question cards. Look for clues, retrace their possible steps, and only when you think you know what happened will you look at the other case cards, trying to answer all of them as you retell the story of the crime. This is a far more difficult way to play! There’s not much more that I can tell you without spoiling the game, so let’s jump straight on to my thoughts. Thoughts About MicroMacro: Crime City The map is large, about 3ft by 5ft (or about 0.91 x 1.52 in metric), but insanely detailed. Normally I’d put this under the positives, but unless you’ve got REALLY good lighting, or fantastic eyesight, you might have trouble with this game. Because MicroMacro: Crime City is all about the detail, you’ve really got to be able to get in close and see what’s going on. In some cases the area we needed to examine was less than an inch (2cm).

Absolutely. I’ve played Full House with my gaming groups, my wife, with friends after a dinner party, and solo. Everyone loves a good mystery and looking around the magnificent map for 15 minutes with friends to find out whodunit just works. Andy reviewed the original MicroMacro: Crime City and really enjoyed it. (If you are curious about how to play this series, Andy does a great job summarizing the basics.) I also played 3 cases from the first game at a friend’s house last year, where we spent more time debating its merits as a game than we did actually playing. Many of the cases in the first game are very short, sometimes less than 10 minutes to work through the 4-5 questions in a simpler scenario. Nincs tervezgetés, nincs szerencse, vagy bónusz, csak egyszerűen keresni kell és fel kell fedezni az összefüggéseket ezen a "brutális" feketefehér várostérképen. Viszon jópár előnye van annek a játéknak. Először is mindegy hányan játszák, akár egy fő is lehet, a maximumot, csak a körbeülők száma adja meg. Azért ketten hárman kellemes szórakozás. És ha esetleg valaki később csatlakozik, vagy hamarabb el kell mennie, attól még folytatható maga a játék. Illetve a játék maga is megszakítatóés később folytatható majd, akkor is ha az eszközöket össze is kellett rakni.MicroMacro: Crime City is a hugely successful deduction game where you’re given a map and a series of clues. The map contains 15+ cases to complete, all hidden and trailing around the city. MicroMacro: Crime City – Full House is more of the same, but with a brand new district of the city! The game works as both an expansion to the original, and as a separate experience. Tizenegy éves kisfiammal nagyon évezzük. Hátránya, hogy több nagyon egyszerű feladvány van benne, ami annyira nem jelent kihívást, így a 16 feladványon nagyon hamar végig fogunk érni. There are 120 cards, which make up the 16 criminal cases you’ll need to solve, each with varying difficulties (rated one to five stars). You’ll also get 16 envelopes to sort the cases into, which obscure the text to avoid any spoilers. That said, they don’t completely mask the text so you’ll need someone with strong enough willpower to resist reading the answers. You play the role of consulting detective aiding a beleagured and bemused Police Department struggling with 16 cases varying from the trivial to the heinous. These cases are presented in a number of steps on cards. These vary in length from 5 steps for the introductory cases up to 11 steps for the most complex. After a summary description of the case is read out you are asked to locate specific scenes or persons on the panoramic cityscape. When you think you have found the scene requested flip the card to see the correct answer. These are grid referenced to the map for ease of location. The protaganists of each case will be shown many times on the map showing their progress in time as well as space. Each step successfully located will lead on to the next until you reach the successful denouemnet. A játék mechanikája rendkívül egyszerű, és ettől annyira szórakoztató, nem kell hozzá semmi extra előkészületet, nem igényel előzetes tudást. Csak hajtogasd ki a város képét, vedd elő az egy bűntényhez tartozó paklit, és anélkül, hogy átnéznéd annak lapjait, nézd meg az első nyomot, majd próbáld megtalálni a térképen! Sikerült? Nagyszerű, akkor jöhet a második nyom. És ez addig folytatódik, amíg minden szálat sikerül felgöngyölíteni, és megoldod a bűntényt. Az egyes eseteket 1-4 fő számára találták ki, de elméletben semmi akadálya, hogy többen tegyetek próbát vele, és nagyjából 15-45 perc a játékidejük, de ez nagyban függ az észlelőképességedtől is. A játék 16 esetet tartalmaz, amik bár mechanikailag nem bonyolultak, és a játékot akár 8 éves kortól ki lehet próbálni, a későbbi bűntények már esetleg szülői felügyeletet is igényelhetnek, ezért 12 éves kortól javasoljuk. Kapunk hozzá 1 db nagyitót, ebből lehetne több is, mi a mobil kamerájával nagyítottuk a térkép fontosabb részleteit 🙂 Egy 75x110 cm térképre zsúfolva 16 bűneset és annak minden apró részlete. Még van pár bűneset, de ha végére jutunk, akkor baráti körben továbbadjuk, küzdjön meg más a micro bűnjelekkel 😊

Elérhető nyelvek: cseh, kínai, dán, holland, angol, észt, finn, francia, német, görög, magyar, olasz, japán, Korean, lett, litván, lengyel, portugál, román, orosz, spanyol, svéd, izlandi, ukrán, thai a 8 és fél éves fiammal játszottam tegnap szinte egész nap, és ő azt mondta, hogy az összes társas közül ezt élvezte eddig a legjobban. Plusz 2 nagyobb méretű nagyító, asztali láma és két jó zseblámpa is kéznél van szerencsére, ezek nélkül valóban nehéskesebb lett volna a játék (nekem).
