I suspect it to be the square o rings between the inlet manifold assembly and the manual thermostat assembly which I see you include in your seal kit.

I did this as I live in a limescale area and the shower unit is very noisy. I thought maybe changing the filters might make the water flow better, however after removing the old filters they were still quite good. We installed a Myra Shower ten years ago and were very pleased with it, especially as it was used more than four times daily, and it stood the test of time and durability. When its life came to an end we had no doubt about installing another. We bought the same again and had no problems installing it into the previous fixings. It was used straight away and so far so good. What do you think, I've had the shower since 2009 and had no problems. Its worth noting that although all the connections are in the same place as older versions of this shower, the casing is larger and curved. For me, this was a problem as the pipes curved into the old shower and clashed with the new casing. Short job to adjust by my friendly neighbourhood plumber though. Overall, I am very pleased with my new shower and at my brilliant DIY skills in fitting it! I previously had a Mira Essentials power shower which had given 6 years service but had developed a leak in the water shut-off solenoid valve. Rather than try to replace the valve, I decided to replace the entire unit since it was all looking a bit shabby anyway. The Mira Event XS was a good match and I found I could use some of the original holes in the tiles for the shower head rail. The fit was easy enough since everything was in the same place. I found the temperature control knob very difficult to remove though. Im pleased with the new shower and with the customer service from Plumbworld. Unscrew the three retaining screws sufficiently to remove the shower cover. The cover retaining screws are captive and need not be removed.This is a replacement for one of our Mira Event S thermostatic and each has lasted around 10 years with the odd replacement front panel. Two of them are over 12 year old, each time easy to fit as the fittings are the same!

When my old faithful New Team power shower after 15 years finally died,I realized I would have to get a replacement. Fit the three rubber feet into the recesses in the case. The feet will reduce the noise transmitted by the power shower through the wall. My Mira XS thermostatic has stopped working. The on/ off switch does my not stay on although the shower runs if I keep my finger on the on/off switch. I suspect a faulty on/off switch and I think that means a new Harness Assembly.
