So what does it smell like? The biggest impression I get is that this is excellently crafted in a similar style to Chanel. Not a similar smell, but style. Moschino Forever is like something from Chanel in the way it's blended to be not overly unique, but a great all-around scent that almost anyone would like (or even love). The top has a bit of a sharp sweet and sour quality to it that really grabs your attention before smoothing out into a slightly sweet and creamy, spicy, woody musk base laced with vetiver. Really nice! Just discovered this scent recently, today is the 3rd time I have properly worn it after several samples and I really wanted to write a review because this stuff is amazing and I love it!

I was given a sample in a swap, but I was afraid to try it. If I loved it, I knew I would do anything to own a bottle, even if it's rare/expensive. I get the citrus notes heavy in the opening, with nuances of mint and juniper. Neither herb is prominent and just add a supporting lift and sparkle to the citruses. Versatility is off the charts. You can wear Forever at gym, at work and even to dinners. It has a bit of everything but nothing too much – kind of sweet, fresh and clean too yet has some flirty aromatic musks. I wore this a lot last spring and it definitely made me feel beautiful. One could argue this is dated because the sex appeal in Forever is borrowed from an earlier era, but I find this to be way more of a “panty dropper” than the alleged Code Profumo or Sauvage. Sillage is very strong and lasts ages on skin. For the cheap price, an exceptionally good product. Simply Put: The great performance and cheap price of a bad scent isn't enough to make this a worthy option. Unlike Angel, I find the fragrance on the whole, delectably edible (or rather, drinkable). It begs someone to lean in and drink it all in. In a friendly way, of course! At the tail end, it's very comforting, warm, very sweet, woody, cozy, musky, cottony smooth and powdery soft.The progression of this scent is fantastic! It gradually evolves from its very male beginnings into a heady, heavenly, feminine fragrance via a myriad of convoluted perfumed twists & turns. How many modern edts can boast this interest & power? Very nice. Forever is a sort of overlooked fragrance that would probably receive more attention had it been released by a better-known house. Of course we all know Moschino, but in the fragrance arena it's not one of the first brands that comes to mind. Anyway, Forever feels upbeat and modern, but also avoids the generic through its contrast of freshness and spice which works very well in this scenario. It immediately opens with an aromatic-fruity quality, juicy and even slightly powdery, accented heartily with anise which gives it an herbal-like sweetness. It's a pleasant combination that boasts powerful sillage and holds together well. Just as you're sort of getting ready for it to change, in comes the pepper and spicy aromatics, providing an interesting, and welcome contrast, creating some dynamism between the notes and the feeling of progression within the scent. This is the heart of Forever, and its stays here for a while until it reaches the final stage of the dry down, where it concludes in a more or less generic, though well-executed woody-tonka base. This is a "true perfume" that bares no resemblance to many of today's watery offerings. I have not had it on long enough to judge its longevity but firmly feel it will be superior. I must say this is seductive like Obsession and not classy like Arpege. It actually makes Obsession look like its shy chaste sister. Yet, I believe it has its time and place. Viva Moschino, the ultimate sexy frag!!!! This is a strong perfume and not for shrinking violets I think - yet it never becomes cloying or annoying, more it is fascinating as it slowly changes through the day. The longevity is pretty decent, around 6-8 hours which is perfect for a spring / summer night fragrance.

Moschino's Forever Sailing proves that not all quality parfums are outrageously priced. It has been turning heads since 2013. Once referred to as toilet water, eaux de toilette, such as this one, are more diluted than EdPs and thus offer a briefer "staying power" of between 2-3 hours. I gifted to a euro male friend (dark hair fair skin) he would douse himself and it was amazing - sweet clean and green. Unlike some of the stagnant pool chemical cleaner smells of the past and current being done. The flowers all meld in undetectably into the potion - its neutral gender specific. I actually decided to try it because of the comparisons to Obsession which I love, and I do see the similarities to begin with, but really they are only similar, to my nose, in the opening. This option combines the woody notes of barks, mosses and warm resins with the greener impression of aromatic spices for a truly hypnotic effect. The top of this EdT includes grapefruit, mint and lemon. Next middle notes of lavender and juniper fill the air. Finally a deluge of amber, musk, woodsy notes and patchouli soars in to sharpen the olfactory journey. (Patchouli, Pogostemon cablin, is a flowering plant closely related to mint. Its smell is often described as intoxicating.) Moschino Fragrances: Price UK Forever Sailing has lots of citrus, juniper and musky vetiver with a touch of mint – all very balanced and very refreshing. The lavender, juniper and patchouli makes it juust a little different from other aquatic freshies. Definitely a casual and happy “feel-good” scent.

About an hour in this smells to me a little like a cross between Obsession and L'heure bleue! It is amazing. It is a bit syntethic but not in a way that will bother you. The kumquat and anise pairing does set this slightly apart, but for the most part it's indistinguishable from other mainstream masculine fragrances from the 90s to the early 2000s. Opens with an ambroxan-citrus explosion, then settles down into a synthetic amber-aquatic bro scent with warm undertones thanks to the anise and sandalwood. Unoffensive unless sprayed too liberally, better for daytime than night, and unabashedly pandering to its target demographic: young men. The bottle manages to be both boring and gaudy.
